"Where you are from did anyone ever see a nightwalker?" he asked and she raised up then looked at him.
'Why are you so interested in the nightwalkers anyway?" she asked and he frowned.
"It has to do with my past, let's leave it there for today" he responded and she raised her right brow.
"You are such a pain," she said and she looked at her sternly.
"Now what did I do to be called a pain?" he asked and she scoffed.
"Oh, you don't know? acting innocent now is that what you are doing?" she asked.
'Woman when you speak to be straight, don't beat around the bush" he responded.
'You stop beating around the bush Alre.." she said and he smiled wickedly.
"Why are you smiling? this is not funny you know almost everything about me and I... you have secrets and that too a lot" she replied and he sighed.
"What makes you think that I among everyone else have secrets woman?" he asked and she folded her cuffs and was about to punch him but he spun around on his toes and she smiled then he laughed and looked at her.
"What are you up to sweetheart?" he asked and she raised her right brow then smiled wickedly.
"I know now you are indeed hiding something, I have met a lot of warriors with different techniques but none of them are like you," she said.
'I am just different, woman" he replied.
"No you and I both know that's not it," she said and he sighed then sat down on a rock.
'Julia you are just confusing yourself" he replied and she sighed.
"You don't have to lie to me you know," she said and he smiled.
"Here," he said as he placed his scared and wrapped it around her face.
"Protect you from the sun.. come on we should get going if you are fine," he said then walked away and she smiled then followed him.
The girl got onto her horse and both of them rode off.
Julia was unsure about their destination and even though she had no clue of where she was going or what she was getting into she was certain about one thing and that the prince was in her destiny and that was something she had to accept whether she liked it or not.
Her trust was not strong in the prince but she trusted him enough for he was the one that saved her life.
Hours and hours passed, it was night when they stopped to set camp for it was not safe to travel that late especially when they are nightwalkers roaming and their main prey usually be people with dark powers.
The princes created no fuss for no one has seen a nightwalker in ages but Julia was on the alert.
"Julia we have things to eat, have dinner and we can get some rest then continue... it's best if we reach as fast as possible" he said as she lit the fire and she sat down on the ground.
"Here," she said as she threw him a blanket and he grabbed it then sat down near her and as she tried to move away he placed his hand around her waist and she trembled then looked at him and sighed.
"You need to learn to stop invading others private space," she said and he squeezed her side and she frowned then his eyes widened as he looked at her while the light from the fire reflected on her face.
"You look pretty," he said as fireflies surrounded them and she smiled.
"What did you say?" she asked.
"Nothing" he responded as she looked at the fireflies forming a circle around them and she laughed.
"They are pretty," she said and Alre smiled.
"Yeah I guess so" he replied as he walked away and she looked at him as the wind started blowing heavily.
'Your highness are you okay?" she asked and he turned towards her as her hair blew up and her body glowed then he smiled.
'I am fine thanks, good night" he said as he went into the tent and she frowned.
"What's wrong with him?" she asked as she grabbed a scarf from her bag wrapped it around her then sat down looking at the fireflies dance.
After a little while, the girl started to feel sleepy and since there was only one tent she got up and went into the tent then lay near Alre who was fast asleep.
Julia started to feel really cold so she went under the blanket it and closed her eyes as Alre placed her arm around her.
"Invading my space against," she said to herself as she yawned then closed her eyes and eventually she slept away.
After a long night the next morning when the girl got up the prince was not there so she got out of the tent and stretched off.
"Ugh... the light hurts my eyes this early," she said to herself as she walked up a little while hearing the sound of water falling.
The girl followed the sound to a waterfall where she saw the prince was taking a bath.
"Woah," she said as he rose up and she left staring at his body.
"You are sneaky," the prince said as he looked at her and her eyes widened then she turned away.
"It's fine you can look, I am wearing pants," he said and she turned towards him then he winked at her.
"Good morning Julia" he said.
"Good morning your highness" she replied.
'Want to take a bath?" he asked.
"Here?" she asked.
"Well would you rather wait until we reach our destination?" he asked and she sighed as she took off the scarf and got into the cold water.
"It's really cold," she said and he laughed.
"Yeah it is" he replied and she raised her right brow.
"Where are we going?" she asked.
'To retrieve something precious to both of us" he responded.
