Ash was annoyed. He had been constantly annoyed these days because as it seemed he had been assigned as Olivia's caretaker. He couldn't understand why her brother couldn't look after her and why the hell he had to escort her back to her room after dinner. Reina had stayed back with the rest while the so-called children had been kicked out. He wasn't a child, she was and he was forced to look after her like some kind of supernatural babysitter.
"Sorry." Olivia said, her doe eyes landing onto the muddy ground. She wore a pair of white elegant shoes that had turned brown now, she didn't seem to mind and she wasn't looking down just because of that. She was too embarrassed to have her eyes on him, that was the true reason.
"Sorry? About what?" Ash asked her and she stopped walking. Her long fingers had been tangled with the fabric of her dress while she thought of what to say and how to say it. It was a way to relieve her nervousness.
