A lost child finds himself outcast from his home and society as he wakes up alone, suffering in pain, in a cold and damp cave filled with strange multicoloured fungi and dark salt water puddles, stinging the open wounds on his body that were probably caused during his unconscious travel.
The young boy raises his head while hissing in pain, as he tries to make out his surroundings as his eyes adjust to what little light is available, he struggles for a few moments while rubbing his eyes, after failing to get his bearings hoping that the blurred multi coloured lights in his vision are a temporary thing due knocking his head too hard before he woke up.
After musing for a moment, our protagonist shook free any stray thoughts from his mind as he still did not feel quiet safe nor could he tell much of what kind of environment he is in other than it being dark and damp.
Hoping that he was at least not in some kind of animal nest. He opened his mouth and bit down hard on what remains of his t-shirt as he braced himself for the oncoming pain before edging himself backwards in hopes of finding a wall lean or something to hide behind so that he may ready himself for any incoming danger.
However it seems that our protagonist may have used too much of his energy moving without dealing with his injuries, as he soon found his vision becoming much darker and less focused as the pain and weariness begins to take hold as his consciousness begins sinking into that same darkness.
During his last moments of lucidity he seems to have heard a shuffling and scraping noise coming from behind him, only to be left hoping that whatever it is moving behind him might be friendly, knowing that this is unlikely to be the case, he felt helpless as the last traces of thought left him as his mind was soon embraced by the abyss.
