ding-a-link!
Winter heard the doorbell ringing. Checking herself in the mirror for the last time. She went to the door to open it.
"Hey." Winter said with a dazzling smile on her lips.
"I hope that I didn't disturb you." Aiden said as he entered the apartment. His eyes took in the beauty in front of him.
Winter was wearing ff The shoulder bowknot detail high low dress deep red color. She was breathtaking.
"No. I was waiting for your call." Winter placed her hand on her mouth. Embarrassed by what she said. The words slipped through her lips.
Aiden was taken aback by her words. Happy with what she said.
"I brought pizza." Aiden said changing the subject, noticing how she was blushing.
"I love pizza." Winter replied, taking the two boxes from him and walking towards the kitchen with him following her.
Aiden's eyes wandered lower at her bare feet. It was a cold night. Yet it didn't seem to affect her. Maybe she was drinking. He thought to himself.
Winter placed the food on the kitchen counter and went towards the cupboard and took two plates for them. She could sense Aiden's gaze at her. Winter wanted to laugh. The man was blushing hard as he stole glances at her secretly. She didn't think that a man like him still exists in this world.
Placing the two plates on the table along with the wine bottle and the cups."So. I am wondering about your line of work." Winter trailed off as she poured the wine into the cup.
Aiden reached for the wine cup and took a sip from it, feeling his throat parched."My family owns a series of milk factories. It's been a line of work for centuries now." He replied putting the cup down.
So he is rich. Winter thought to herself as she put a slice of pizza on his plate."You run the factories now." She asked and took a bite of her pizza. Staring at his handsome face.
Her mind suddenly drifted to their last lovemaking. It was right here on this kitchen counter. His hard body was pressed against hers. Winter squeezed her thighs tightly. Trying to relieve the painful arousal.
"Yes. It's quite hard to run all these factories but I got used to it." Aiden replied.
He realized the two of them knew nothing about each other. He wanted to know more about her. Though Winter appears to be a tough girl, he can see the sadness in her eyes reflecting.
"Tell me something about you. We hardly know each other." Aiden said, watching as she took another bite from the pizza.
Winter's body froze for a moment before she relaxed. It was a normal question. No need to be alarmed. She thought to herself.
"Well. There's nothing much. I'm just an ordinary girl. I studied civil engineering but I ended up working as a cashier in a mall. Same old story. We study hard but we fail to find a job." She replied, careful not to reveal too much about herself.
"Yes. I agree with you. It's hard to find your dream job these days." Aiden replied to her words smiling at her.
Winter nodded at him. She suddenly remembered how her father was happy when she was accepted at college."We don't get everything we want." She said and took another bite of the pizza.
There it was. That look in her eyes. Aiden wondered what caused this deep sadness.
"True. But we can work harder to get it." He said.
Winter let out a soft laugh realizing she and her belong to two different worlds. "Not everyone is born into a happy-optimistic family milk boy." She replied to his words not noticing that she had said a little too much.
So it was her family. Aiden noted. He decided to not ask her further. It was too early for him to ask personal questions."I apologize if I upset you." He apologized, reaching for her hand to hold it.
