Chapter 11 - Chapter 10

This morning it was Laras who was in charge of making breakfast because Steven himself asked for it. From the dining table, Rio silently watched Laras's every move, her appearance this morning was simple and closed, Laras wore a hoodie and training pants a little too big so that her distended stomach felt comfortable and protected. But what Rio couldn't deny was that Laras's image from last night was still vivid in his head.

On the other hand, Reza was also glancing at his brother and sister-in-law alternately without the others noticing.

"Laras, come eat with us. Sit near Rio." The voice from Steven made Rio's secret activities stop, Rio immediately turned his gaze to another direction, as well as Reza who was now getting ready to eat his breakfast.

Getting an invitation from Steven, Laras first looked at Rio for approval, afraid Rio didn't want her to sit near him. But Rio didn't answer, he just looked away nonchalantly.

"Just sit down, don't be shy like that. Usually you're the one who's shy too." Fania said with a faint smile glancing at Laras.

"Tara!" said Steven rebuking his wife with an elevated tone making Fania pursed her lips.

"Laras sit down quickly." Steven continued.

Seeing Steven sour face, Laras hastily pulled a chair near Rio and sat there immediately. She didn't want to see the commotion between Steven and Fania just because of her. They started breakfast in silence, only the clinking of spoons and forks could be heard. Laras ate slowly, she was afraid that if he ate with careless movements, she might disturb Rio who was now beside her.

"Laras." Call Steven back.

Laras who heard that immediately looked up at her father-in-law.

"I think it's good if you live alone with Rio in his private apartment."

TAK

The sound of a spoon sounded loud when Steven spoke his opinion. And none other than Rio, he did not accept his father's opinion. How could it be in his private place that he had to live alone with the person he really wanted to avoid.

"Are you kidding me? Come on, it's my private place. You know that's not why I bought the place. I don't agree." Reject Rio.

"Poor to be rejected." Fania quipped who was still casually bribing the food into her mouth.

"TARA!."

"Okay-okay. Just defend your favorite daughter-in-law."

Laras bowed her head back, always like this. Her in-laws will definitely fight because of her, Laras should be aware.

"Dad, I think living here is enough for me. If I lived there I would feel lonely because Rio left work." Laras dared to speak, this seems like the right choice.

"Good. At least your duty here as a maid doesn't go unnoticed, it's a pity that aunt Lin has to work alone." Fania spoke again, he smiled sarcastically at Laras, look. Even Rio didn't defend her at all.

"Sis." A voice is calling. No, not Rio was called. But it was Reza who called Laras.

"Yes? you called me?" Laras asked because Reza was facing her, Reza also happened to be sitting on the opposite seat.

"Are you busy after this?" he asked Laras to which Laras nodded.

"I have to clean up the dirty dishes after this."

Reza looked around, paying attention to everyone at the dining table. He looked back at Laras.

"I guess it's still a long time until breakfast time is over, I want to ask you for help Sis. Please check my report. I trust you." Reza stood up and finished his breakfast, "I hope Rio will allow me to borrow Laras's sister for a while." Reza looked directly at Rio coldly, and it was replied by Rio no less cold.

"Hmmm... take it. I'd be happy if you kept it away from me anyway." He said.

Again.

Rio quipped with a sentence that was enough to make Laras aware of her status that wasn't even registered with the law. The status of a couple that was only a sentence, with a heart that he was hardened, Laras stood up slowly and followed Reza from behind. In silence, Rio glanced at Laras's back who had now disappeared from the dining room.

"I'm done. I'll go first Daddy." Rio put down the spoon and fork he was using.

"Why so early? It's still too early. If you can take Rafi with you."

"No dad, I have to go to the airport."

"Airport? For what?"

"To drop a friend off. I'm leaving." After asking permission from his father, Rio took his coat and bag rushed to go to the airport.

.

Rio drove his car very fast, he almost forgot to take Dinda to the airport because of Laras's problem which he had to discuss at home with his father. Laras was really a bad influence on him. Rio had no idea. Plus, since when did Reza get close to Laras?.

"Shit! Focus Rio!"

Yes, the friend he will be delivering is Dinda. There's no way Rio will tell his father, he might get angry from Steven.

"Are you okay?" Reza said looking at Laras who kept her head down.

"Me? I'm okay, what's wrong with me? Which report should I check?" Laras changed the subject.

"Oww...that. I forgot that the report was with Rara, later when he comes here you will check. Actually it's a group project, but I'm not sure about Rara's work."

Laras nodded.

"Then I'm going, I have to clear the dining table." Laras was about to leave Reza's room but her steps were stopped because he was being held.

"Wait a moment." Reza removed his hand from Laras's wrist, he walked towards the small drawer in his room to take something from there.

"This." Was handed a small vial with a pill in it.

"What is this?" asked Laras who was now looking at the small bottle.

"It's a vitamin, I heard it's good for pregnant people."

"Really? Why did you give it to me? Sorry in advance, don't you hate me Reza?"

Reza looked away.

"Kheemm...for that matter, I apologize. I had a bad feeling towards you at first. After all, it was as my apologies and I feel sorry for you." Reza answered in a doubtful tone.

Laras smiled, she was relieved. There was at least one more person who accepted her in this house. Laras unconsciously cried.

"Thank you." She said sincerely to Reza.

Reza looked away again when his gaze accidentally met Laras's. He had to control himself. He had to remember that Laras was his own sister-in-law.
