What follows for next few weeks is probably the bone-crushing training. Father is pushing harder than he has before. I even heard Reeva complaining about the poor quality of bone smith he is employing. Like me she doesn't care how rough the training is, thanks to the heart of Atla World Render, I'm healing faster than the bonesmith can heal. When I tried to explain to both Reeva and Father they explain to me in unison, "Microfractures is what they are trying to fix. Unless you want to go to Uncle Roger."
I rub my arm where Roger did his work, while it is stronger than another work done before. The place is numb. Whatever he is doing destroys even the magic inside my bones, making it impossible for my soul power to help. If I let him work on me, I might have no special trait by the time he is done. The numbness in that arm is warm, almost like my bone has a fever.
"Father, he needs to go already. I'm only willing to hold the outbreak for another three days." I push Reeva. She has been pushing for my thrid spectral general to be a Deadman. I Really have no interest in a Deadman. Thes spirits use is to infiltrate the living world. A deadman after looks like the living.
"I don't need a deadman what I need is a powerful Bone Reaper." I have learnt that skeletons come in three types mainly Raiders, Ravagers, and Reapers. By talking with uncle Roger, I know now that these are archetypes affect how they will grow. Raiders types are common, easy to upgrade and widely used because they have a lot of diversity in terms of growth. This is also why they are most commonly used. Even though they are dull and can only follow basic commands, even a decent commander can win any war with them. On the opposite side of the spectrum are the Reapers, high intelligent, extremely difficult to control and upgrade. Ravagers are in the middle and only have the worst traits of both, but this also means they most unique growth paths.
The master, my father rubs his chin. He has been doing it ever since he saw Theana. I haven't seen my generals in weeks either, as they are training even if she can't speak yet. Theana is clearly smarter than another spirit they have met. The training they are doing is something quite interesting, I hope to see the results during the outbreak.
"She right, you need a third spectral general. Reeva, go to your friends when we come back. You will leave immediately for the outbreak." This has been coming for a while the amount of times he has told about an adam is boring. This Reaper type, Skeleton lord Iro, made as his successors. The only problem is that he made it of black dragon bone. Giving this adam a unique disposition towards undead.
"You really need to stop worrying about me. I will take control of it. It can't break my spirit." The story of how much damage Topalingrin suffered because of Adam is truly a marvel. The master, my father, always calls Topa by his full name. As a spirit created by him from the ashes of his wife. Lady Lingrin Blood throne is probably as famous as the master during the 66th Dread Crusade, who was undefeated in the living world. He doesn't like to talk about her but it is impossible for him to talk about himself without mention of her.
We arrive at a Bone Hall through a portal. They are so set in the tradition in the underverse that a lot of time they will do things that are nonsensical. I will not be bound by these silly traditions. Iro us Golden skeleton who like wearing soft red fabrics. As a former general of the Master My father, Iro, is friendly towards me. Most skeletons express indifference towards other undead. They believe themselves to be the purest undead, as they are not bound by the flesh. In fact, Skeletons and zombies have an interesting dynamic. The rot that zombies carry is especially displeasing to the Skeletons.
Immediately, the conversation turns to Adam. The black and gold skeleton is in a Stasis coffin. The silver edging all over the body is beautiful to look at. Iro grabbing my shoulder. "I tried my hardest to give this one my all. Skeletons are powerful more than you know. Please try to listen to him."
Iro who has no skin to expressive looks like a parent who has done everything for their child. Now that brilliant child who has infinite potential needs a chance. I can feel Adam, his spirit is strong. Overbearing almost. It's not like I didn't expect this.
I reach out to it, excited tendrils of spirit power grabs onto me, touching my soul. A mighty dragon roars echo in my soul. The Heart of Atla pounds loud and visibly, an echo of pure soul power clutches the tendrils. His position in life frustrates Adam. He will not submit to anyone. Not even to me, Adam is stronger than me in every measurable metric. He is stronger than anyone he has ever met. This makes us incompatible.
I try a trick that the Unibas has used. Through our connection, I give him a taste of a living soul. Reliving the memories of Valania with how she felt. The power of living souls is a powerful drug.
💬 'Incompaitibale general type...'
I can feel what's wrong, the problem comes from all the other times Adam has absorbed various spirit power. It has polluted his potential. Pepa is offering to fix this, but it will cost him all his experience and power.
Adam rages at me, tearing parts of my soul. I fight using what little control I have over my decimation to destroy his power. Cracking parts of my soul in the process. To the master and Iro we both look like we are crumbling to dust which makes them both nervous.
I desecrate what little is left of him. This gives us a way to link. If he continues, we will both exhaust ourselves and expire. I am not trying to control him, but I don't have a choice. He must submit as the master spirit it is my role to be a bond between us all. Adam tries his best to refuse. I don't understand him. He will die for pride. I use my skill soul shield to give myself a boost. It just occurred to me that this skill could work on my soul.
The strengthening of my soul shakes the balance. My decimation, wreaking havoc on his soul. I work to only remove all the power that is not his naturally. Letting my decimation run rampant is devastating on my body. Even my armour has patches on it.
The master whispers in my ear, "Kill him if you have too!" I turn my head to him and that pisses me off. I know that Adam is like this only because nobody has given him a chance. He has a lot of potential for destruction, but everyone only wants to control him. Just like how Unibas wants to control me. That vile, and wicked god who wants me to dance on a string of destiny laid out by him.
Adam has his own goals, beyond growing strong. 'I will let you do that, I'm don't care about ruling. I only want to destroy the God and make them suffer.' Adam is his father's child. Skeleton Lord Iro wants to be on top of the social hierarchy. And that is something everyone could never accept. Being ruled by skeletons is not only offensive to them, but also terrifying.
I would promise the world if he wanted it. I am here to reach my goal. He is a powerful potential ally. The things he wants, he should be able to articulate as we grow stronger. This tempts him alongside the chance to consume the living, makes him question himself. The reaper skeleton lord has his core reaming being made from black Dragon Bone. He can regenerate it.
💬 Compatiablity Dragon Reaper Skeleton and Dusk Night Skeleton 500%...Bone Spectral General acquired.
The interaction of a dusk skeleton and an equally rare dragon reaper skeleton means that we reinforce each other. My soul power enters adam changing him much like it did the others but because I'm a skeleton myself. Adam is more of an echo of me, meaning I have become like him. My bones go black, my soul power silver and magic power gold.
The process finishes a little too late, my armour crumbles completely. Adam turns into a black gold and silver mist that coats my bones in scales. Our souls are joined total I have given to Adam all of my power, except that which Valania and Theana have. The only thing I kept for myself is the Heart of Atla. My father grabs me as I fall over I can only mutter, ''Outbreak."
I have a dream where a see a woman, who looks back at me smiling. I have seen nothing like her before but I have seen that scythe in her hand before...
