In a certain subway station, a fairly beautiful Japanese woman is commuting. She is leaning on her seat with a lucid state, feeling very lightheaded due to the lack of sleep.

She is Kannagi Towa. A 22 year old woman working on a certain company. The company is pretty exploitative and can be considered one of those infamous Black Companies.

Of course, being in this country, she needs to keep working. The working ethics here are not that forgiving to those who aren't competitive.

So despite not liking it, she struggles waking up and going to her work.

It is just another day for her.

Her head is just wobbling in sleepiness when she felt a huge shock. The whole train shook greatly, causing everyone to tumble along with her.

She didn't have the time to process what is happening as the lights of the train turned off. She just heard a deafening sound, and then a brief moment of absolute pain and burning, then nothing.

In that moment, she died. She didn't even process it herself, but she died after the train she is located derailed on it's way and hit another train.

It is an unfortunate circumstances. She died along with a hundred people.

But surprisingly, she opened her eyes and saw herself in the middle of a desolate land. A land where the ground crisps and have a hint of chalk, the sky is gloomy, and dead branches of trees dotted the whole surroundings. The whole place stretches out until the horizon, making it impossible for her to see the edge of this desolate area.

"Where...?"

She looks around in confusion. She felt lost and curious. How she managed to get here without her noticing it.

She really can't recall what happened upon her death. She only knows a brief moment of pain, like she is being burned and skinned at the same time, and then nothing.

After that she opened her eyes here without any explanation. There is no hint, and nothing giving her any clues what is just happening.

While looking around with a foreboding feeling in her heart, a floating panel suddenly appears in her vision which causes her to jump in surprise.

"Ah!?"

She covered her face instinctively, but see that the panel is still within her sight despite closing her eyes. Fear turned into confusion as she slowly open her eyes.

"What is this?"

She put her attention on the floating panel.
