Feeling the carriage had come to a stop, Silver opened his eyes that he had closed at some point during their long ride to the dragon district.
Looking up to the girls he could see them looking outside the carriage from the windows.
"Have we arived?" He asked to nobody in particular.
"We have~ but it looks like something is happening outside." Blair replyed while not takeing her eyes off the window.
A little curious about what is happening, Silver got off the floor and looked out the window next to Rianna.
Outside the window was the scene of two groups of people fully clad in their gear with a man standing in the middle of them. They looked to be fighting over something or rather someone.
"Well its not like it has anything to do with us so lets just get out and head to the dungeon." Silver finally said after watching the two groups for a few seconds.
"Wait! Before we go, let's get into a party." Kaiya said while grabing onto his arm to stop him from opening the door to the carriage.
Looking at Kaiya for a minute before looking over to Rachel and Rianna, he wasnt sure how a party works with Npc's. He didnt try it before now because it just never crossed his mind.
"How do I start one?" He asked now looking back at Kaiya.
"Go to your status and then you can access the party from there." Kaiya replyed.
Doing just that he opened his status and then thought of making a party and a new window was opened up for him to see.
[Name your Party]
Seeing that he needed to name the party Silver thought for a moment and named it 'Forsaken Thorns'.
After nameing his Party he could see he already has two members without even needing to send them party invites. The two individuals were Rachel and Rianna. He wondered why they were instantly put into the party but it works out in the end, so he wasnt all to keen on figuring out the reason at the moment.
Sending invites to the others, there was now a total of 8 people in his party including himself. Although their group might seem Larg, it was actually not big enough to even be considered a medium sized party.
Party sizes range from 4 to 12 members for small to medium sized groups with 4 being a small group and 12 being a medium sized group. As for partys bigger than that, 12 to 24 members would make up medium to large groups with Medium being 12 members and 24 members would be considered a large group.
Raid party's consist of at least 4 large groups in total or even more so for the group 'Forsaken Thorns' their group cant be called a small party but also cant be called a medium sized party as they are right in the middle of the two.
"Whats with the name?" Kaiya asked after joining the party.
After hearing Kaiya's remark he could only smile wearily. The meaning behind the name is kind of personal to him.
It was a guild he created in the last game he played a little over a year ago. It only had about a hundred members but it easily could compete with larger guilds thanks to how strong the member were. Every single player had a reason for joining and could of been considered a thorn.
Either they were a thorn to others or a thorn he had to constantly keep a eye on or they would prick him in the back side. Though he thought this, he never once regretted creating that guild or haveing a fun time playing with the members. Sadly after what happened he slowly stoped playing and the guild fell apart.
"I dont know but I kind of like it." Blair said after also joining the party.
"Well now that that is situated we can go to the dungeon now." Silver said as he reached for the door to the carriage so he could open it.
Not being stoped this time Silver opened the door and exited the carriage before turning around and helping the girls out of the carriage. He didnt need to but it just felt like the right thing to do.
While he was helping the girls out of the carriage Silver could overhear what the two groups were fighting over. It would seem that the guy in the middle of the two groups is a healer and was with one of the group's about to head to a dungeon. However the other group wants to pay the healer and have them come to the dungeon with them.
Thinking about how Rachel had mentioned that healers were rair he didnt think it was to the point of players getting into fights just to have one.
After helping the girls out of the carriage Silver waited for Kaiya to lead them in the direction of the dungeon. Seeing that they would be walking around the fountain he looked over to Liz before deciding to hold her hand. He didnt want Liz to get mixed up in other people's squabbles so it made sense in his mind to keep her next to him for now.
Felling someone grab her hand Liz became a little shocked and almost panicked. She was about to pull her hand away but when she looked over to see it was Silver who was now holding her hand, She became flustered.
When she looked up to see his face, Liz could see he was looking ahead. As she smiled Liz also looked forward and followed the others around the fountain and down the main road.
After a few minutes of walking Liz could feel him loosen his hold on her hand but that only prompted her to tighten her hold on his.
Walking down the main road before takeing some side roads Silvers group walked for close to 30 minutes before coming upon what looked to be a worn down cathedral. There was vines covering it all over like a mass of snakes and redish leaves that gave off a dangerous vibe just by looking at them.
Looking at the cathedral you could see it was made of marble but looked like it was covered in dirt. It even looked like it was melting in some spots for some reason creating a weird appeal like a worn down warrior who still stood guard to protect his people.
Around the front entrance there could be seen a group of guards and even some small groups of people presumably about to head into the cathedral.
Walking up to the cathedral they could see one of the guards had tooken notice of them and was waveing them over.
As soon as they got close the guard spoke. "Are you a group about to head into the dungeon?"
Kaiya was the closest to the guard so she nodded her head to comfirm the guards thoughts.
Seeing Kaiya nod, the guard didnt wait and proceeded to explain why he called them over.
"Great, You see my niece and her friends want to go into the dungeon and get something the boss on the final floor drops but I dont dare let them go in alone.
I have been asking every group that goes in if they will be willing to bring them along but nobody wants to do so.
So that brings me to why i stoped you. Is there any way you can let them tag along?" The Guard explained with a pleading expression.
Seeing the guard had a troubled look on his face as he explained. Silver didnt think it odd that nobody accepted the quest. Not only would the drop have to go to a Npc. Nobody even knew if they could make it that far and failing could cause the Npc's to die.
Seeing Kaiya look to Silver, he could only sigh before speaking.
"What level is this dungeon?"
"5." Kaiya replyed.
Hearing Kaiya's response he thought that it wouldnt be that hard to complete the dungeon. The Echo Bat cave was practically cleared out by only Rachel, Rianna, and himself so this should be a little easyer since there was more people now, right?
"Then its up to you girls if you want others to tag along." Silver said as he knew they wanted to use this as a chance to hang out with him
Seeing the girls looking at each other before nodding Silver was a little confused but the next second he noticed their expressions were all resolute.
"We'll do it." Kaiya said to the guard.
The Guard was left a little bewildered. He thought for sure this group would also turn him down but surprisingly they accepted.
"Great, let me get them." The guard said before almost running away so they couldnt change their minds.
Once the guard notified his colleague and left, Silver couldnt help but question the girls because although he did want to do the quest deep down. He was sure that the girls would turn the guard down on his request.
"Why did you accept the quest?" Silver asked while looking at the girls.
"Because thats what you would of done." Kaiya said leaving him confused.
"Something i would of done? Why do you think that?" Silver asked surprised by her response.
"You helped that town without a quest or being asked to do so. This also seem's like something you would do." Kaiya said leaving him speachless.
'True but I did have a reason.' Silver thought of how he wanted to use the opportunity to lvl. Helping the town was a bonus on top of his other objective. While thinking about this a small smile couldnt help but appear on his face.
The girls managed to notice his small smile and it made them smile back at him.
Proceeding to wait for the guard to return they waited near the entrance to the cathedral. Liz was still holding his hand and it appeared she had no intention of letting it go just yet.
Just as they started to wonder if the guard was ever going to return they noticed a guard being followed by 2 girls and one boy. The girls were dressed in leather armor while the man was wearing metal armor. They girls looked to be 16 or so while the boy looked a little older.
The girl on the right had dark chestnut brown hair and light blue eyes. She had a set of short swords on the left side of her waist and small pouch on the other side of her waist most likely for her money.
The girl on the left had pitch black hair and a set of brown eyes. On her waist was a whip tied to her right side and a small pouch just like the first on the other side.
Behind the two girls stood the boy that was fully clad in metal armor similar to the guards that are often seen in the capital. His hair was black and his eyes were a light blue.
On his back was a great sword from the looks of it. It was awfuly long and thin and based on its looks Silver guessed it was a claymore.
Silver didnt really like that they would have a person in their group with such a big weapon especially if they would be in a enclosed space but since he also was clad in armor it would at least aid with protecting the front lines.
Seeing the group getting closer he decided to let Kaiya take the lead and speak for the group again. Its not that he had a problem speaking with the guard but he worryed that his cloak would complicate things.
"This is my niece and her two friends." The guard pointed to his niece and then the other two.
"Hello fellow adventurers, thank you for allowing us to accompany you. My name is Ailia and these two are Cristy and Llyr ." Ailia the girl on the right said while pointing at the girl and boy respectively.
"Hello my is Kaiya." Kaiya said before introducing the rest of the party to Ailia, Cristy, and LIyr.
"Its nice to meet everyone." Ailia said before showing a weird expression on her face.
"Is something the matter?" Kaiya asked as the expression Ailia was makeing was not something she expected.
"Are you not the party leader?" Ailia asked after hearing Kaiya.
Hearing Ailia, Kaiya realized what was happening and shook her head.
"My brother is the party leader." Kaiya said while pointing to Silver.
Ailia glanced at Silver for a second before nodding. As soon as Ailia nodded Silver got three new messages that poped up on his retinas.
[Ailia request to join your party]
[Cristy request to join your party]
[LIyr request to join your party]
Accepting all you their requests Silver and the rest finally receaved the quest that they did not get yet.
