Logging off without any problem, Ryan guessed that him just sitting there and relaxing must of counted as meditating or maybe it was resting but he wasnt sure.
Takeing his headset off, Ryan moved to sit up on the edge of his bed. Getting off the bed and grabing his phone from where he placed it on his desk. Ryan proceeded to go downstairs to see if his mom had made anything for dinner and if not so he could make something to eat.
Passing the front door Ryan bagan thinking of Emilia and started to wonder if she had asked about comeing over yet. Takeing out his phone and pulling up her contact information, Ryan sent a quick message.
Ryan [How'd it go.]
Putting his phone back into his pocket before walking to the kitchen, Ryan started to look in the fridge to see if his mom had made anything yet. Not seeing anything in the fridge that looked new wasnt a surprise since he kind of figured him mom wouldnt even be home tonight. His mom and Ms. Ren liked to spend time together especially when they had time off so she probably would stay over and visit Ms. Ren.
Since there wasnt anything already made Ryan decided to look around in the Freezer for something to make for him and Kana. 'Emilia probably will forget to eat before she comes over if she gets permission so I should make something she likes as well.' Ryan thought while lightly smiling.
'There is some hamburger. Maybe there is everything i need for shepherds pie?' He thought before looking for the ingredients. Shepherds pie was something they all liked if he remembers corectly, so it shouldn't be a problem.
'Perfect, we do have what I need.' Ryan thought after searching the whole kitchen and finding all the ingredients he needed.
Starting his preparations and moveing around the kitchen with ease, Ryan got lost in cooking before he even realized it.
Makeing the shepherd's pie and putting it into the oven, Ryan started to think about how long its been since he last made shepherd's pie. It was one of the simplest dishes he learned to make and was also one of the earliest as well. 'Has to of been a year or two since I had a chance to make this.'
Makeing sure to set the timer on the oven before pulling out his phone to check his messages. Ryan noticed he had a few messages on his phone from Emilia.
Emilia [My mom agreed!]
Emilia [I'll be over soon.]
Emilia [Omw.]
Looking at the other person that had messaged him and seeing it was Brooke made him wonder whats up.
Brooke [Can we talk after you log back in? Like alone and away from the others.]
Ryan [Of course.]
He sent her a reply before looking on the internet for anything interesting that was happening. While looking his attention drifted to the streamers that were playing Abandoned Kingdom's online.
Looking though all the streams Ryan could see a few streamers where currently playing but he couldnt see Kastor's stream. 'Thats strange, I had just seen him on not that long ago. Maybe he logged off to do something.' He thought while pokeing around to see who elts was streaming.
Even after looking for a good amount of time it was clear he didnt recognize any of the streamers which was a little odd. There should of been a dozen streamers he was following that were playing but none of them were online.
After deciding to click on a random stream, Ryan decided that it would be a good way to pass time until either Emilia showed up or the timer for their food went off.
The streamer wasnt a big one but from the look of their streamer profile they seemed to be dedicated to streaming so it probably wouldnt be a waist of time. After a quick glance at their profile name, Ryan tapped on the live video that was broadcasting.
After tapping on the live video, the screen on Ryans phone changed to show a damp and dark looking hallway that looked to be on a slight decline. The surounding walls looked very old but if looked at carefully you could see they weren't chiped in the slightest and were very well maintained.
The leader of the group was a shield user just like Kana. She looked to be about 5"9' and had charcoal black hair. She wasn't skinny or fat, rather she looked rather well developed in all the right places. it wasnt a hourglass figure but if worked on for a year or two, it certainly could be something very close. she was also clad in leather armor.
As the group passed some small puddles on the ground the stream showed a small purple wisp that was following the group leader. From what he could tell the leader or rather Mearr, also seemed to be the main person the small streaming wisp was following.
"Mearr are you sure this is safe to do without Loman? He is our only healer and we almost died the last time we were in here." A man holding a torch in one hand and a short sword in the other said as he looked around nervously. He had dark chocolate brown hair and a rugish looking face. He looked to be the oldest of all the group members.
"Dont be such a worry wort Brice. We got this." Mearr replyed while waving her shield hand as to dismiss Brice's worry's.
Seeing Brice look to the other two companions Ryan also looked briefly at them as well. One looked to be a girl around her teenage years. She had golden hair that was very visible in the lite of the touch and was holding a staff of some sorts. Her clothing looked to be the standard common cloth clothing that everyone started with.
The other was completely covered in a cloak and had two small hatchets slung on his waist. It would be hard to even tell if it was a boy or a girl if he hadnt seen people in the chat saying how cool the cloaked man was and refering to old fights that they had been though. That being said the chat might of not even known since they never mentioned an actual appearance of the cloaked individual.
Watching the group continue walking down the darkly lit hallway, they eventually came across some small green blobs that looked to be huddling in a corner. Well if green blobs could huddle that is.
Apon aproching the green blobs Mearr got into a defensive stance with her shield held up in front of her.
"Brice and Grant protect Nora until I get all their agro." Mearr said as she took the hilt of her short sword and hit her sheild sending out a red aura that hit the green blobs.
Feeling a new rage boil up inside of them the green blobs looked to of turned and were looking at Mearr. Seeing the green blobs had twisted and distorded their bodys slightly to be able to look at Mearr probably meant she got their curiosity but it didnt seem to of gotten their full attention as they didnt move other than that so she repeated her taunt which made the blobs want to kill her.
Watching as the green blobs moved slowly twords her, Mearr gave the signal for the others to start their assault. Seeing the two hatchets cleave at the blobs in a flurry of strikes was impressive but when the green blobs recollected themselfs and showed no sign's of actually being dameged Ryan started to get curious of what the monsters were exactly. They looked to be the common monster in any game known as slimes but assuming this probably would only get him to feel embarrassed when he actually met a slime down the road.
Looking at the other part members Ryan could see that Nora was preparing some kind of spell and Brice was having the same trouble with the green blobs that Grant was having. He did hit the blobs with the touch a few times and that left a mark but it also was killing the fire of the torch so he stoped after only a few hits.
"Pillers of fire!" Could be heard from Nora as the magic circles infront if her were completed.
Hearing this both Brice and Grant backed off just in time for 3 small bursts of fire that erupted from the ground under the green blobs. When the fire died down moments later any traces of the blobs that were left looked to be bubling like boiling water.
"Great job Nora." Brice said as he checked on the remains of the green blobs.
"Why do they always stink so much when we kill them like that?" Mearr asked trying to cover her nose from a stench that only the party could smell.
Just as he could see someone on the stream about to reply Ryan heard a knocking on the front door that wasnt loud or veary heavy. Putting his phone down on the counter after turning it off, Ryan started to walk to the front door.
Walking over and opening the door he could see Emilia had a suitcase in one hand and her backpack on the ground leaning against her leg. She looked about to try knocking again but put her arm down after seeing the door open.
Watching Emilia wave to her mother before grabing her backpack and bringing it into the house. Ryan waited for her to be fully through the door before closing it behind her.
"Have you eaten yet Emilia?" He asked as he shut the door and turned around.
Seeing Emilia shake her head as she was putting her things next to the couch, Ryan sighed since he guessed this would happen and walked back to the kitchen to look at the timer he set on the stove.
"What did you make?" Emilia asked as she followed behind him into the kitchen.
"Shepherds pie." Ryan replyed while looking at the timer that said the food still had 15 minutes.
Feeling Emilia hug him as soon as he turned around to lean against the counter, Ryan was a little surprised but welcomed her non the less by hugging back. As he wraped his arms around her he could feel her rest her head against his chest.
"I missed you." He could hear Emilia say.
"We were just playing together silly." He replyed only to feel Emilia tighten her hug a little.
After feeling Emilia tighten her hug a little he decide to kiss the top of her head as a apology since he probably said the wrong thing.
"I love you." Ryan said while gently holding her up against him.
Feeling Emilia Immidiatly loosen up and stop squeezing him, Ryan smiled while waited for the timer on the stove to go off.
