Hearing a faint snaping sound his vision went black again before comeing back into focus.
Seeing Camilla snapping her fingers in front of his face, he looked over to see her and noticed she had a smile on her face.
"Congrats on getting ya first familiar. So what did ya Mana Forest look like?" Camilla asked as she was curious what kind of mana forest he would get.
"It was a large forest with 5 large trees that reached the night sky from what I could see." He told her.
"The elder trees maybe." She said after closeing her eyes to think.
"Well good on ya, A Mana Forest like that isnt the worst one ya could get. The water ones could drown a familiar before ya even got out of the trance like state ya get put into." Camilla said as she opened her eyes and started to walk over and re organize the cabinet she got the contract from.
"So can I go back there or something?" He asked wanting to get a little more information about his Mana Forest.
"Sure ya can. Just focus on wanting to be there while meditating and ya will be there. It's even posible to use some Mana to build buildings or platforms when your there. Building them takes time though so its best to find a good place to meditate." Camilla said as she organized the cabinet before closeing the door.
"Now then, to call ya horse out, all ya have to do is will it while calling her name." Camilla said standing up and heading out the door to the stall they were in.
"How much are these contract so I know in the future?" He asked as he followed Camilla out of the stall.
"Each contract for simple creatures like horses or squirrels will cost five hundred gold coins. For anything as big as a dire wolf or bear its one thousand gold coins and after that it goes up to five thousand gold coins." Camilla said as she closed the stall and lead him back to the front of the main stables.
"Why would Fraya give out something that cost so much." He asked a little stuned at how much they cost.
"Anyone who joins Frayas faction of the Brotherhood gets a familiar contract so they can get a horse to be more efficient in doing their jobs." Camilla said understanding as she also was the same way when she joined the Brotherhood under Fraya.
When they arived at the front of the stables they could see Rachel and Rianna were still standing there waiting where he told them to and the men guarding the stables were also where they were before.
Walking over with Camilla they joined Rachel and Rianna in looking at the three carriages.
"What are you going to do with them if they dont clear out after you tell them Nightmare is no longer here." Rachel asked Camilla.
"Well I cant kill them because Fraya told me not to do so but I can ignore them now at least." Camilla said in a bitter tone.
"So what will ya lot be doing now?" Camilla asked.
"We will be heading to the capital." Rachel whispered in Camilla's ear hopeing not to let others know of were they are going.
"I see, well I hope your journey will be enjoyable." Camilla said as she handed a small leather pouch to Rachel and then start to walk back in the direction they came from.
Seeing Camilla walk away made him decided it was also about time to leave Kla Asari.
Seeing Rachel handing him the bag after she had a quick look inside, he put that thought on hold to see what was inside.
Looking into the bag that Camilla gave Rachel he could see gold coins and a small slip of paper.
[This is your reward and a little something extra to help you in the capital. Sighned: Fraya]
Reading the slip of paper before counting out a total of 15 gold coins he was a little surprised at how generous Fraya was being. Turning over the paper to make sure there wasnt anything extra written on the paper he could see a kiss mark made with lipstick and five words on the back. [Till we meet again love.]
Handing the paper to Rachel so she could see it and he wouldnt end up losing something important, he could see her frowning before ripping up the small piece of paper. Seeing a small smile on her face once she was done, he put away the pouch of gold coins and told them it was about time to leave for the capital.
Turning around and walking to the town exit with the others, Silver could hear a commotion comeing from behind him. Thinking about how Camilla must of told the people about how Nightmare was not there anymore, he just kept on walking.
After ignoring the commotion and walking outside the gates to the town, he called out Nightmare just like how Camilla told him to do so.
Getting on Nightmare and then helping Rianna up onto her back, they both looked over to see Rachel already on Zolix and waiting for them.
Haveing Rachel lead the way they departed from Kla Asari with a smile on their faces for all different reasons.
Letting Rachel lead the way until the capital was clear in view, Silver had Nightmare ride up next to Zolix so he could tell Rachel to be careful.
"Is something up ahead we should know about?" Rachel asked wanting to know why he would tell her to be careful.
"I heard there are bandits hanging around the capital." He told them trying not to go into specifics.
Seeing Rachel nod, Silver looked back to the the road they were traveling on. Traveling along the dirt path, they all did their best to look for any spots they believed somebody would set up a ambush from. They also were on alert the whole ride just to make sure if someone did attack, they would be ready.
Surprisingly even though they were on pins and needles the whole ride, nothing happened. Since this was the case during their journey, it led him to believe the people who Kana talked about were either working or at school do to what time of day it was. It's posible they just wernt around but he wasnt going to rule out any possibilitys.
Ariveing in front of the city gates they decided it was best to not bring the horses into the capital so they wouldnt have a repeat of what happened in Kla Asari.
After getting off Nightmare and Zolix and haveing them enter their respective Mana Forests, they walked up to the capital gates.
Looking up to the masive wall that was right in front of them it was hard to guess just how tall it was. 'That has to be more than 60 feet tall.' He thought before Looking at the gates and seeing how thick the wall was.
Walking up to the masive gates and seeing that there was two golems made of metal on each side while some guards were sitting down playing cards, it was clear it must of been a slow day.
Walking right past the guards and golems that didnt even look their direction, they could see a masive city.
Since it was almost night time when they arived, it was a beautiful seen. There was blue fires on lamp posts that lite up the cobble streets. Houses that lined the streets as far as the eye could see and what they believed to be a fountain that could be seen in the distance.
Behind the fountain was a masive castle that unless you were blind, there was no way you would miss it.
After entering the city and marvelling at the gorgeous view. They noticed how the main street was bustling with people.
Walking down the coble street that led to the fountain, they could see larg carts that carryed various goods being pulled by horses. Some carts were going into the city along the main street while other carts were leaving the city on the very same street.
Every now and again a giant metal figure could be seen walking with a few guards and everyone would move to the side to creat room for them.
After takeing a closer look at both the houseing and the people that lived in this part of the city, it was clear that what consisted of the outer ring of the city was for the commoners.
As they arived at the large fountain, a larg stone statue that depicted a phoenix could be seen right above were the water came out.
Looking around for any indication of were a place to learn to craft or buy supplies, they notice all the carts being pulled into town were heading in one direction. After watching the carts for a few minutes, they decided to follow behind to see where the carts were going.
As they progressed further into the city the houses slowly started to look better and visually started to show less flaws.
Takeing their time as they walked while following the carts they started to notice more and more people were walking to and from the direction of were the carts were headed.
After following the carts for a period of time they walked into what looks to be a giant market. There was various stalls selling goods from foods to weapons for combat. Although the goods in the stalls wernt what they were looking for as they would prefer to make their own, there was some items to take note of for the future.
Deciding that they should talk about the possibility of splitting up to find out where they could go to make gear and learn crafting he asked what they were all thinking.
"Should we ask around and see if we can get any hints of where we need to go?" He asked and could see them nod.
Splitting up to look around the market and ask about locations that might be a good place to learn how to craft, they looked for people that looked like they knew there way around.
It didnt take long to find what they were looking for as they only needed to ask a few people before they got some answers that could prove helpful.
Meeting back up and discussing what they have found. They all decided on a crafting class they would focus on and learn.
The main ones they picked to go with would be the jewelers so Rachel could learn to make jewelry and the enchanters so Rianna could learn to enchant items. Rachel and Rianna said that would be the best use for the Echo Bat fangs but based on how excited they were when talking about the Crafting classes they chose, the two might of had other thoughts when choosing. Although this might of been the case it wasnt a bad ideas since none of them had any enchanted gear and although he disliked the thought of earrings it would be better to max out on the posible pieces of equipment they could use.
Deciding to check out blacksmithing himself so he could make them weapons, they all agreed to find a inn and get a room so they would have a place to meet back up later.
