"How dare you? How dare you lay a finger on her?" he roared as he punched him across his face.
David was about to fall on the ground but Juho held him by his collar. "You caused those wounds on her body? You are going to pay for what you did to my Kamou."
"You should be grateful to me. I am disciplining that bitch." David sneered caressing his cheek where the punch landed.
"What did you call her?" Juho said glaring at David's mocking face.
"Bitc..." Before David could finish Juho trashed his face with multiple punches.
"Her name is Kamou." He said in between punches. "Who the fuck you think you are to discipline her? I'm going to kill you."
Juho was beating David relentlessly when the two were separated by the cops that had just arrived at the scene. The cops were accompanied by Mr. Kwan, he needed to step in to handle the situation. Juho struggled to compose himself as he breathed heavily. Mr. Kwan held Juho back. The cops helped David get up from the ground. The man was terribly beat up, his face was swollen with bruises all over. Blood oozed out from some of his wounds.
"I am going to make your life hell. Kamou is no longer alone and helpless; I am here to protect her. You messed with the wrong guy David." Juho said as the cops supported David in standing up.
"You can't scare me. I know how things work in the entertainment industry. I know if people got to know about this, it will be you guys who will suffer. The only one that is going to be destroyed now are you and Kamou." David said, challenging Juho. David sure was crazy, he was wounded badly yet he had the audacity to make threats.
"That's where you are mistaken." Juho smirked. "You think I am just an idol. You don't know who I really am, if you did, you wouldn't dare to hurt someone so precious to me. You are naïve to think I would go to such extent without enough preparations. This incident never happened, no one will hear about it."
Juho's words echoed in David's head as the cops dragged him out of Kamou apartment. David wondered what was going to happen to him next. Juho's manager, Kwan excused himself and went with the cops to take care of legal procedures.
A doctor arrived at the scene. Juho didn't want to risk going to the hospital. Juho had called his family doctor to examine Kamou's wounds. The wounds were minor, the doctor cleaned them up and prescribed the necessary medicines.
Once the doctor left, the apartment grew silent. All this while Kamou didn't move or speak. Her eyes were blank, she was too shocked to be aware of things happening around her. Her silence was bothering Juho, he tried talking to her but she didn't respond. The tears she cried had already dried up staining her face. Juho was relieved to know that her wounds were not serious but it was the internal wounds that broke her.
Juho stood in front of her, he wasn't sure about what to do, what to say, how to bring her back, make her talk. It was like the woman he loved had gone somewhere far. His heart was ripping apart, he needed to do something. Even if he wasn't able to do much, he needed to bring her back.
Juho gently picked her up in his arms and took her to the bathroom. He placed her below the shower, took off her clothes and turned the water on. Juho washed her body as tears started flowing from her eyes again. After shower her dried her body and hair. He dressed her up in her night gown and carried her frail body to her bed.
Juho didn't speak, he knew nothing he said would make her feel better. He placed her on the bed carefully. Juho gently wrapped his arms around her weak body as tears ran down her face. Kamou was in his arms for long, his warmth started to slowly grow over her. Her tears now flowed more rapidly; small whimpers could be heard. Juho hugged her tighter with each sob. The room was filled with sorrowful crying.
Kamou held onto him tightly, she needed him. Juho was relieved, it was progress. She wanted him to stay and he stayed; he was ready to stay there with her, no matter how long it took. As she let it out, the images from earlier came back to her. She remembered how Juho saved her, he came in time, he handled everything, the cops came in and most importantly David was gone. Her nightmare was over, she felt better.
"I won't let anything happen to you. Kamou, you are safe." Juho said gently massaging her back. His voice soothed her.
"I... I'm... I'm sorry." She managed to say struggling to catch her breath.
"Ssshhhh..." Juho said breaking the hug. He wiped off the tears from her face.
"Everything is fine now. Come sleep." Juho said making her lay down on the bed. He covered her body with blanket as she closed her eyes. Juho took his place next to her in bed. Both of them were drained out and needed rest.

The next morning, Juho woke up early. He sat up and saw Kamou sleeping next to him peacefully. The two didn't have a chance to eat dinner yesterday, he was starving. Done with his morning routine, he went to the kitchen to prepare breakfast. Walking across the living area, which was still a mess, Juho sighed. He needed to take care of it before Kamou was up. He quickly put on Kamou's cute kitten apron and got to cooking. The food was cooking on low heat on the stove. Meanwhile, Juho tied up the place. He cleaned the floor, set things back in their places, picked up the glass pieces from the ground.
In no time the living room was organized. Juho looked around, proud of himself. The food was almost done so he walked to the bedroom to check on Kamou.
