The werewolf pack ranking used in this book is as follows:
1. Alpha - The leader of the pack.
2. Beta - Second in command.
3. Gamma - Third in command.
4. Delta - Messengers of the pack. There are various rankings among Deltas.
a. Epsilon - Guardians of the pack.
b. Zeta - War General of the pack and Eta - Warriors of the pack.
c. Iota - Medics of the pack.
d. Kappa - Lead hunters of the pack. Also in charge of making sure that the pack is well fed.
e. Omega - Remaining wolves of the pack, usually weaker than the others.
