[Trinity's POV]
The party in the hall was raging, and the Duke of Venezia hadn't had a clue to what we were doing inside one of his receiving rooms together with the Prince.
Why would he worry? Duke of Hamill was his friend, and right now, he believed that the Duke and the Prince were having secret conversations and tying up their allegiance while he entertained his guests.
We could let in the good all Duke of Venezia in our little secret, but it was dangerous at the moment. Right now, I didn't have anything to tie him to keep his mouth shut. Who knew if we could even trust him? He was even using his daughter Emerald to solidify his position.
I didn't trust a man like that.
If Emerald married Prince Zen in the end because the girl fell in love with him, then the Duke of Venezia would have both the throne and the Church if he knew that Michael was the true Saintess.
