Michael stifled a laugh. "I like it that you're smart. But I guess not that smart since you still fell into my trap. You were so desperate to save this kingdom that you would accept any help. And that is where your downfall began."
Prince Zen only smiled amidst the sweat on the side of his face. "And you think that you would get away with this? By what? Make your crusader announce to the world that you're the Saintess? No one would believe you, and everyone would still pin the blame on you."
Michael nodded. "True. You have a point there. There's no use to have one of my own spout tales of me to the public." He then smiled coyly. "That's why I have someone fit for that job."
In the shadows, another man appeared in the room, and both I and Prince Zen's eyes bulged.
"Cruz . . ." Prince Zen's voice made it evident that he couldn't believe what he was seeing.
