after Julia funeral sam was broken down and drank all night get tired then fell asleep in his bedroom the next day he's three co-workers came for the mourning of Julia sam was talking and telling them how they were searching the house and expecting a child when this happened the co-worker was sorrowful after hearing the story sam get tear again his co-worker friend name Smit go to the kitchen to fetch the water from the kitchen was downstair when he was going he sees the living room it was a mess all thing was broken chairs was table everything was broken destroyed in his thought was " Julia will be terrified when she was chased chase by the robber "
then he started to head toward the kitchen to take a glass of water for sam and when he turn around he hear a door opening sound when he follow where was the sound the door was open all door was closed then bam the door he run toward there it was the basement door that shut it was still little open Smit open it to see if there was someone in it was too dark to see anything he put his phone out of pocket open it flash to go down there to see if someone is in there he just has put his front foot on the step when one of the co-workers comes down to look for Smit he grabs his shoulder and says " why are wandering in the house it been 30 min since you left to get water come on we are all going home let go everyone waiting outside " Smit shut the basement door and head outside he sees sam and everyone was outside sam was with them seeing them off.
Smit and other chat a little and left in the car Smit was still curious about noise and the basement.
Smit ask others " hey something is weird in his house "
James one of the co-workers " what weird it was you who take half an hour to get a glass of water "
Smit " no something was weird happening in his house when I was in the kitchen I heard a sound of door open I went to look where the sound of a door open was coming from it was the basement I was just going to take a look at the basement but you come in and I stopped.
Williams the other co-worker beside James and Smit was older and senior to them he was hearing all that and was silent then he say to Smit " maybe you guys do not know but there has been a story of sam house that was haunted and stuff it was said that near his house there was the group that holds dark ritual and sacrifice women in early 90s there was a lot of women missing were report in town when the investigation was held it was found that a group is sacrificing the women police gun down most of them one escape when police chase him he broke into the house of the farmer kill the farmer and take hostage of his daughter and when police caught up he was in the basement of the house he was doing ritual on his daughter then police gun down him and years later the framer daughter also found dead in the basement the most terrifying part is it was sam house "
car become silent everyone does not have a word to speak after hearing the story James was driving in his thought was " just drive ignore them ignore the spooky stuff just drive and get home "
meanwhile, sam go to his bedroom seeing Julia picture remember her then he remembers Julia always wanted a dog she used to say a dog will help me not feel lonely when you are not home sam gain the courage to move on and go to adopt a dog he reach to town dog adoption center and look for a dog one dog quickly got his attention was golden retriever he was thrown away by a family he was a very loving dog and after sam started to pet him he started to lick his face he like him and take him back with him but the dog needs a name so sam thought " your name from now on is Harte sam quickly started to feel better then they reach home Harte was always playful but when he arrives sam house he becomes silent and scares sam have to force to take him inside the house he just sticks around with sam whenever he goes he was scare of something sam find it odd but he thought because he's new in the house that why he doing this then after giving him some dog food and water Harte after eating goes to sam bed to get ready to sleep and sam and Harte sleep.
NEXT DAY
sam eyes opened by Harte barking he goes to see who Harte is barking at he was at the basement door barking and growling at it sam clam him down to see why he barking he grabbed the door to open it in his mind it was not opening but he turn the knob it opens up he gets a little shock he opens it was dark down there Harte slowly take his step back of fear and sam thought he has to look what inside in near there was flashlight he grabs it and started to go downstair Harte got scare run in the kitchen and get under the table sam taking his step slowly and going down he was looking around with a flashlight when he sees the scribble wall (do not go in there close the door ) that was written there when he reaches downstair he started to look for a switch for light when he was looking for light switch he was looking at the wall there were unknown language symbol he was looking at the wall when he heard a noise he get startled his heart start to beat fast he quickly flashes his light around again he heard a noisy someone crying it was coming from a corner there was little stuff in basement remaining was all space when look at the corner he see a girl like a shadow crouching and crying he was scared he was seeing this girl its foot was chained the chain was going to the wall he was sweating and was terrify then he gather courage and call her out " who are you what are you doing in my house "
girl get silent get up she was 7-foot tall sam eyes were open and he has known it is not a girl when she turns around she leaps on to with her head upside sam screamed and runs toward upstairs in half stair he slip flashlight get to the bottom flashlight flash toward the girl and her with her face upside down strange long arm coming toward he was screaming and going upstairs and Harte heard run toward sam grab his collar with his teeth on the second step and pull him up she was at the second step Harte push the door it gets closed right at the end where she was sam get up quickly and grab the knob and lock it she pushes the door to open it she was beating it and trying to open it by force doorknob was going right-left like she was trying to open when the door stop shaking then sam quickly get up grab his car key call Harte and run from there (this time she was not in car because when julia left she does not lock the door locking door is like a seal to not let this spirit out sam force it that why seal weaken it get open and spirit have given freedom to do killing )
sam was terrified and was only thinking about what he saw in the basement right now he had to go somewhere safe first he thought of his co-worker Williams he goes to upon reaching sam was terrified and started to talk about what he saw William listen to his story and then mention that his house has been haunted and a story is attached to it then William told him the story of his house sam was a complete blank hearing the story and not believing when the moving company and Julia mention that something was not right in this house but he did not believe in this stuff then William ask " you did not know that your house was haunted "
sam " we were searching for an estate agent and we come across an agent name mark we buy this house from him "
William "do you have a phone number or something of mark "
sam " he does not have an address to his office but there was a phone number let me check my phone he found the number "
William " call him and ask why he let you buy a house that was haunted "
sam call mark it gets disconnect
William ask " you do not know anything about him how can you buy the house from someone so suspicious "
sam " he seem trustful he give us all the paper and everything the house was well under budget we even have left some spare as well to renovate it he remembers mark has mentioned that someone was living before us maybe if we can find something on them we can uncover mark identity "
William "agree with sam he knows some in town that should know something about this house and can help them "
