The two packs had their members lined up for an all out war. The intimidation strategy was not effective as neither pack was willing to back down. Everything was on the line and the reputation of the Hamsterly pack was at stake more than ever. An uneasiness was felt through the air with all the wolves ready to engage.
"You don't have to do this Daren, give up now and we can walk away from this unharmed" Eric cried through the silence.
"Me, walk away? Never, why don't you walk away old man. You're feeble leadership has plagued this forest for far to long. It's time for this forest to belong to the boulder, it's time for a change old man" Daren snapped back.
"Change? The only thing that's going to change here is your presence young boy" Eric said.
"Is that so, well let's test that theory" Daren said devilishly.
After the exchange of words, Eric and Daren began walking out. Their members followed close behind and then they started walking faster and faster before the two packs began to run and then they clashed. Tooth and claws locked on as Miranda and Brody took on two wolves each since they were the most experienced in combat. Eric and Daren locked on as the two fought with all that they had. William and Caleb still had a grudge against eachother and decided to settle it out once and for all. Blake was being kept at bay by Brian who wanted to pay him back ten fold for what he had done. The other wolves locked claws with the other unnamed boulder pack wolves and fought valiantly against them.
Brody was met with four paws on fury from the two wolves he fought. It had been a while since he was engaged in combat so he was a bit rusty and got caught with cheap moves but his experience came to his aid when he needed it the most. He side stepped a nice swing which could've been fatal and pounced on his opponent and flung him into Connor's. When the other jumped at him, he twisted his body quickly and latched on to him as they rolled around in the snow exchanging blows and bites. The second wolf wanted to capitalise on Brody being distracted and go in for the kill as Brody was on top of the enemy wolf. Before he could even get moving, he was rushed by Kent and pushed over showing that they all looked out fire eachother.
"Thank you.....Kent" Brody said fighting the enemy wolf.
"Just doing my job" Kent replied before re-engaging his opponent that was wailing around in the snow.
Miranda had her work cut out for her as the two wolves were by far bigger than her and sort of out muscled her but her skills made up for her smaller size. She wiggled her way through the grasp of the two pea brained wolves put witting them most of the time but one thing all wolves have learned is that you must get hit in a fight. She was caught a couple of times by their paws and bites but the ones that she gave them were pound for pound stronger than theirs. The two ran side by side coming to out muscle her but she had a plan for them. Since was was faster than the other she created her plan based on their speed differential. She moved to the side avoiding the first and tripped him making him stumble and them latched on to the others neck and threw him at his teammate. As the two tried to recover, she hopped on them to continue onslaught.
Kent and the others were using a tactic Brody had thought them earlier to get an edge over their opponents as some ran around chasing eachother before getting back down to fighting while the rest of them fought valiantly with out letting their enemy running away to give them a breather. Brody had thought them that they should rotate their opponents so that before they could get used to their fighting strategy, they would be met with a totally new person with a different fighting style. This would make the strategy to fight them ineffective making the Hamsterly pack nearly unpredictable. All but Brian and William followed this as they both had a grudge match they needed to settle. Brian went toe to toe with Blake as the two heavy weights battled things out on the field. They've got more than enough time to settle things out. Blake and Brian rolled around the snow plagued plain in the forest exchanging ferocious bites and blows as they tried to land a decisive hit.
"You're going to pay for what you've done" Blake snarled as he threw Blake of him.
"You think you can do that? Please, stop cracking expensive Jones and accept the truth, you and your pack is going to lose" Blake said as the two circled eachother.
"Going to lose? News flash you guys are about to experience the biggest upset in your packs history" Brian said with a growl-bark.
"I'd like to see you try" Blake said tauntingly.
"You're not just going to see it, you're going to experience it" Brian said as he hit snow into Blake's eyes blinding him while he launched himself at him.
Brian clamped down on Blake's head as he was now fighting blindly due to that dirty trick of Brian. He was now on the receiving end of vicious bites and slashes that left very gruesome wounds on his body. By the time he was able to push Brian off, a lot of damage had been done.
"You're going to pay for this" Blake said angrily as blood dropped down his partially opened nose from one of Brian's slashes.
"Well a wolf once said, I'd like to see you try" Brian taunted Blake with his own words.
Blake snarled after hearing that before charging at him. Brian seemed unmoved as Blake ran up to him. Once he leaped at him, he simply gave him a right paw swipe that sent him rolling. Before Blake could recover from the hit that made him to stain the snow he rolled on with snow, Brian was on him once again and the two continued to settle things out on the battle field. On the other hand, Caleb and William were at eachother a throats as the two locked up and were inseparable. Neither of them wanted to let up as it might give their opponent the other hand. William was able to fight off Caleb as the two got a breather and circled around to get back to it.
"Why, why would you backstab us and team up with the enemy?" William asked as he circled around his ex pack member.
"Well I figured that the boulder pack would be the best way I could get my revenge on you guys and with their numbers, they'd stand a good chance against you guys in over running the forest" Caleb explained.
"So this is like a revenge story?" William asked.
"Yes it is a revenge story and you're not the main character. Everything would've worked out well if not for those four wolves that I didn't account for" Caleb said with disgust.
"Well I'm glad it didn't workout" William said with a brief chuckle.
"Yes laugh all you want but let me just say that plans can always change and adapt" Caleb answered.
"They can adapt but you're to dumb to change them" William replied.
"Is that so. You really think I'm that dumb?" responded Caleb.
"Well, you can't use what you don't have" taunted William.
"You're going to pay!" Caleb said as he charged at William as the two were once again locked in combat.
The blows that they exchanged were really something and the two alphas fought like them too. Neither of them let up and they continued to brawl.

Time went by quickly as the wolves were now feeling really fatigued after long periods consistent fighting. They were all tired and panting heavily. All felt it except the two alphas that fought nonstop with no breaks at all while the others looked very tired. Well you can't blame them, they had a lot on the line. Some of the boulder pack members couldn't keep up with all the fighting and so hey decided to save themselves. They took off leaving the rest of them to fight it or and the Hamsterly wolves chased them down to make sure that they never returned. Blake, Caleb and Daren were now even more scared than ever as one by one their members reduced until it was just three of them left.
"Enough Daren, your pack has fallen apart and your plan has failed, give up now and we shall let you lived Eric said as he, Brian and William threw their opponents back. Daren rallied with Caleb and Blake as it was now three on three now.
"Never, I would never give up. I will claim this land even if the three of us have to fight everyone of us to do it" Daren replied.
"Do you guys really want to do this" William said as the Hamsterly wolves that chased the enemy pack members away started to trickle in one after the other.
"Yes we do" Daren snapped.
"Daren, I don't think it would be wise" Blake reasoned with his superior.
"You dare question me?!" Daren shouted.
"I would never but sir we are out numbered, out muscled and are going to die if we don't cut our coat well" Blake said with reverence.
"You do make a good point but I'm not going down with out a fight" exclaimed Caleb as he lunged at an unsuspecting Eric but William was quick to react and slapped Caleb with a strong right hook to his face which left a scar along his left eye and snout. He shrieked in pain as he rolled on the ground.
"Well Daren, I ask you again do you still want to continue with this?" Eric asked as Daren looked at his member rolling in pain.
Daren made his decision and took off with Blake. Caleb stood up quickly and looked at william with his left eye closed and blood trickling out, ran away with his new alpha. The Hamsterly pack are finally in control of all parts of the forest. No more sharing or borders, the Hamsterly forest was their once again. As their opponents ran away, Eric and his wolves howled in victory.

The whole pack gathered together for a Christmas/victory eve feast. They all say ate and laughed although they got some pretty nifty injuries but that didn't stop them from celebrating. The forest had finally returned to its owners. William and Brian as usual were eating more than anyone. Everyone was merry and Fu of joy. The patrol strategy had to change and they had to adapt to the new half of their turf that they owned. William remembered the it's that he'd gotten them and rushed to go bring them out. It turns out that the other had also gotten gifts. They exchanged gifts and opened them. Keisha had gotten Will a bracelet with his name on it and so had William, what a coincidence. The pack was full of joy after winning that war but when they all got home and relaxed, they felt the whiplash of the war as their bodies now went into recovery mode. Unlike his parents, William wasn't strong enough to make it up the stairs and slept on the couch while his parents went into their room to sleep. All the wounds they had gotten started to heal slowly as they slept through the night till new year's eve.William didn't wake up until 9 am and was greeted by a hearty breakfast made by his mother. He got up and sat on the dinning table with his parents as they discussed yesterday's events and the new things that are going to happen in the pack. A new era had dawned for the Hamsterly pack and it was clearly here to stay.
