"Have you guys ever heard of the vigilante called the corrector?"Asked Mayla.

"Are they from an anime?"Asked Shimigala.

"No why the fuck would they be from an anime, what about you Lioda?" asked Mayla

"Yeah, aren't they a vigilante, who stopped hundreds of heroes who they claimed were corrupt, and hundreds of villains, the way they stopped the heroes was by breaking their spins so they could never move again" responded Lioda.

"They stopped about 10 years ago, there are so many theories, why do you two think they stopped?" asked Mayla.

"A choice," said Lioda.

"Don't you dare, flip a god damn coin to make your mind up" sighed Mayla.

"Well all the theories sound plausible, heads they died, tails they got blackmailed," said Lioda as they flipped a coin.

"For fucks sake" sighed Mayla.

"Heads, they died," said Lioda

"You would hold a gun to your head if the coin told you too, what about you Shimi?" asked Mayla

"Well, I personally think maybe they got caught but died in police custody and the police were so embarrassed they just said They stopped"responded Shimigala.

"For an idiot that is a surprisingly good answer" responded Mayla

"Thank you"smiled Shimigala.

"Are you just going to ignore the fact she called you an idiot?" asked Lioda.

"Anyway, vigilantes are a difficult topic, are they bad or are they good, there are 3 sides to every coin-"sighed Mayla before getting interrupted by Shimigala:

"Don't coins have 2 sides?" asked Shimigala and Mayla just looked at her and Lioda stared at her fiercely

"Shimi, coins have 3 sides, the side of heads, the side of tails and the bit in between every 3d shape has at least 3 sides, no matter how small that side is, it is still a side," said Lioda

"I didn't ask for a math lesson," sighed Shimigala.

"Well you clearly need one," said Lioda.

"Shut up, I am not a coin expert like you" retorted Shimigala.

"You forget, she only sees things in 2d, as she buries herself into her anime, and dreams about 2d boys" Mayla laughed.

"Well i, shut up, Mayla," said Shimigala in response.

"No, come back?" asked Mayla.

"I don't dream about 2d boys," said Shimigala.

"Uh yeah, you do"responded Mayla.

"Well at least I have a hobby unlike you two," said Shimigala

"I collect coins," said Lioda.

"I do fencing, anyway the sides of the coin are like this, heads are heroes, tails are villains, and the other side the in-between is the vigilantes, they are heroes while breaking laws," responded Mayla

10 years before this conversation

Katze sat in the back of the police car, he looked down at his hands they were clean, but moments before they had been covered in blood, not just anyone's blood but his mother's, Katze was 5, a young boy whose whole world had been changed in the course of one night, a small hand grabbed his side, he looked down, at his little sister, Kitty was 4, he put an arm around her, a kind-looking police officer stood by the entrance of the car door"your name is Katze, right do you mind telling me what happened?" asked the police officer.

"Da..da.daddy, called us all to living room, and then he had sharp pointy thing, and then he put sharp pointy thing through mummy, and then bl..bloo.dd came out and then it got on my hands, then daddy came towards me with sharp pointy thing and then Kitty made a protection thing around me and her and daddy couldn't stab through it and then daddy ran away, and then we went to mummy and she was cold like like like ice cream, and she wouldn't move and and then someone walked past the front door, and called po....lice and then you came."Said Katze.

"Are you aware that your mother is dead?" asked the police officer.

"What is dead mean?" asked Katze, Kitty refused to speak, she was quite a shy girl.

"It means you will never see her again," responded the police officer.

"Why?" asked Katze innocently.

"She isn't in this world anymore," explained the officer.

"Why?" asked Katze innocently.

"Because she is dead," sighed the officer.

"Why?" asked Katze.

"Because your dad stabbed her," responded the officer.

"Why?" repeated Katze.

"I don't know why," said the officer.

"But I thought adults knew everything," said Katze.

The rest of that day is a blur no matter how much it replays over and over again in Katze's head, he just can't remember, the next memory he has after that is one that is more joyful, but still blurry he remembers this: arriving at a door to a house, and before he knew it that was his and Kitty's new home.

There was a woman there as well as another little girl.

"From today onwards you will be living with me," said the woman.

That was all Katze could remember looking back on his past, as he lay in his bed, that had been 10 years ago, he sighed as he sat up and scratched his short ginger hair, his hair partially covered the side of his eyes and back of his hair was messy and spiked out in several directions slightly, he gently rubbed the tiredness out of his dark green cat-like eyes, he walked past a mirror and looked at the ginger cat ears that sat at the top his head and walked over to the wardrobe, and put on his school uniform, before his door was fiercely swung open.

"Hurry up loser, we are going to be late to school if you keep taking this long, and how many eggs do you want with breakfast?" asked Yumuko.

"Yumu, do you know the concept of knocking? And 2 eggs, "responded Katze.

"Shut up or I will freeze you," shouted Yumuko.

"You need anger therapy," sighed Katze.

"I do not need anger therapy, I do not have an anger problem, god damn it," shouted Yumuko

"Pretty sure you do Yumu," said Katze as he walked into the living room, Kitty was already there.

"Stop calling me that, ginger kat ''shouted Yumuko, he had neck length pitch black hair that was kinda messy and looked like it had tiny spikes at the bottom, he also had a single strand that was as white as snow, and cold blue eyes that looked like the embodiment of winter, his eyes, unlike his personality, looked calm.

"Can you two please get along for 2 minutes" Sighed Kitty, Kitty had long ginger hair in two plats with part of her hair covering where her nose is and stoping at where the bottom of her eye is and the and the sides of her eyes partially covered by her hair but not in a way that would stop her seeing. she had green cat-like eyes like her brother, it was clear the two of them were related, and she had a smile that could light up the room.

"Sweet little sunshine, your brother is just way too annoying," sighed Yumuko, he was calm now, Kitty seemed to be the only one who could make the mood of the room shift.

Then another girl younger than Kitty by a few months came out of her room, fully dressed in her school uniform.

"Morning lil glitch" smiled Katze.

"Has mum already gone to work"asked Gli as she yawned, the front of Gli's hair was cyan-blue with a light pink streak down the middle, the back of her hair is a light blue, and with a pink messy bun on the right and left side of her head, her hair is also short only going to about halfway down her neck, her hair didn't look like it should be humanly possible to have but her hair is natural. Her right eye was emerald green while her left eye was amethyst purple, her face looked paler than could be healthy.

"Yeah Hitch sensei left early, she told me to wish you luck," sighed Kitty.

"She can't even see her daughter off on her first day at a new school, it's kind of typical." sighed Gli, as she went to the table and sat next to Kitty,

"Gli don't worry you will do great" sighed Yumuko as he served breakfast of egg on toast to everyone.

"Thank you, servant," muttered Katze.

"Remember it's your turn tomorrow, you damn loser," shouted Yumuko.

"For someone whose power is ice, you are surprisingly hot-headed" retorted Katze.

"Shut it," said Yumuko.

"Why don't the girls ever have to cook" sighed Katze.

"It is sexism, that's what it is" responded Yumuko, both of them laughed while Kitty and Gli looked at them.

"See they can get along"Laughed Gli.

"It's a miracle," said Kitty.

"Can I ask you guys something?" asked Gli.

"Sure" responded Katze.

"You all have such amazing powers, why didn't you try to become heroes?"Asked Gli.

"You already know the answer to that"sighed Yumuko.

"Hitch sensei is training us to be vigilantes, to take down corrupt heroes, and you're meant to become a popular hero and help get a system where heroes aren't corrupt," responded Katze.

"We just have to go to a normal school, do normal things, but be vigilantes at night," responded Kitty.

"Being a hero sounds nice though, maybe one day when we have fixed the corrupt hero system, then maybe we might get a hero license, or maybe they will lock us up and throw away the key," sighed Yumuko.

"But you guys aren't vigilantes yet, mum pushed her goals onto you, but you don't have to do stuff for mum's selfish reasons," said Gli.

"It isn't just cause of Hitch sensei, I mean we all owe her one, for taking us in, but those heroes who are meant to protect us, they never caught my dad, my dad who murdered my mum and would of murdered me and Kitty, if Kitty's power hadn't awakened then, I remember I always wanted to help people, my power isn't the best but, I can catch my dad, those so-called heroes don't care enough," responded Katze.

"I was 4 at the time, I barely remember my mother, but whenever I think of my mother all i can really see is Hitch sensei, she took care of me, despite my power not being that good, I would never become a hero with this power, but maybe I could be a vigilante, and you know helping people is so cool, it makes me feel like the protagonist of an anime, the underdog, who at the moment is in training, but one day I will save people," said Kitty.

"Damn being insecure about your powers must run in the family, both of you stop doubting your selves, personally, it runs deeper than theirs, I kinda hate heroes," sighed Yumuko.

"Care to elaborate?" asked Katze.

"It's not important, ginger cat," shouted Yumuko.

"We aren't just doing it for Hitch sensei, more Hitch sensei is enabling us to do this." smiled Kitty.

"Well I am going to become a hero and change the system, you guys are so inspiring, plus I have to do it for my sister, that's why mum is doing all this."Smiled Gli.

Meanwhile.

"Layla," said a voice.

"Yes what is it Shadow," said Layla, Layla was a girl with fiery orange hair, her hair was wavy and about medium length she had pitch-black horns sprouting from her head, she had blood-red eyes she had a pink plaster over her nose she had a white skin tone and some earnings with skulls on them the skulls were real skulls of mice. She wore a black top that had laces covering the shoulders she looked about 16 she also had 2 rather demonic-looking wings, she looked like there was no humanity left in her, she stared at them.

"It is about the time a new school year starts," said Shadow, Shadow had long kind of dark purple hair and dark purple eyes, she wore a black top and black leggings, she had 2 black roses in each side of her hair

"That means more heroes in training, more people to crush, dreams and ambitions to ruin, this year will be the year, as queen of the underworld I promise that the world will soon know ruin," said Layla.

"You're crazy," said Shadow.

"I know, that's why you love me, maybe this time when I kill I will feel something," said Layla.

"I doubt it, you have already killed hundreds," responded Shadow.

"Do you feel anything, "asked Layla

"I am just a tool, my feelings are irrelevant," said Shadow.

"Friends are meant to be truthful to each other, aren't we friends, that's why you can speak so freely around me, I prefer friends to tools," said Layla

"You are so annoying sometimes," sighed Shadow.

"I know, but you love me"teased Layla.

"I don't hate you like most people do," said Shadow.

"You see the human side to me"responded Layla.

Meanwhile

Gli was excited it was her first day at a school for heroes, she knew she would make her mother proud, she walked through the gates of the school and smiled, this was for her sister, the building was humongous made of marble, with windows dotted about and big doors at the front, surrounded but other building, such as arenas and training grounds. Gli was going to be a hero and hopefully make friends, it was kind of sad though being by herself, Kitty was in her year group so she use to always have her with her, now she would have to go and make friends by herself, she entered the building went up the brick stairs to the 4 floors, where her class was,class 10z, she entered the class there were about 24 seats in the classroom populated by a range of people, she walked to the teacher's desk, and he pointed her to a seat near the back of the class. each table had 2 chairs, there was already a girl occupying one of them, Gli walked to the back of the class and sat down next to the girl.

"Hi, my name is Elle, let's be friends"Elle smiled, she was an Asian girl with electrical-looking yellow hair that was about shoulder length and was kind of wavey, and blue eyebrows, she had fiery orange eyes, and had a cheerful smile on her face.

"I um, uh uh uh uh uh uh," responded Gli, she had no idea what to say.

"Introvert huh, or just shy? crippling social anxiety? or a mixture?" asked Elle, the energy she gave off was incredible.

"Yeah, let's be friends, I am Gli," responded Gli.

"Gli, huh nice name, is it pronounced like gu....l....i or is it pronounced Gleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee," asked Elle her energy was almost electrifying.

"The the the the, first one, I think the 2nd option has a few too many es," sighed Gli.

"You really think so?" asked Elle.

"Yeah," said Gli.

"Let talk powers, what's yours?" asked Elle.

"It's called Glitch I can distort things, phase through them, increase my speed, healing, and stop someone from moving, and stop their power working for a bit, however, I have to touch the person first," responded Gli.

"You just told me your weakness, what if I was a super-secret traitor, I mean I am not a super-secret traitor but isn't that something a super-secret traitor would say, I mean I am not a traitor," responded Elle she was pretty much bouncing with energy.

"Uh you're not a traitor though," said Gli.

"That's the thing about traitors, you never know," said Elle.

"I mean that's true, but," said Gli.

"I am not a traitor," responded Elle.

"Yeah I know." sighed Gli.

"But how do you know?" asked Elle.

"Um uh um uh, what's your power?" asked Gli, trying to change the topic.

"Elemental, I can shoot electricity from my right hand, fire from my left, ice from my right foot, and water from my left foot, but I am dyslexic, so I can't tell left from right without doing the L hand thing," responded Elle.

"You just told me your weakness, what if I am a super-secret traitor." smiled Gli.

"I like you already, I can tell we are going to be good friends," smiled Elle.

"If you need help with reading what's on the board, I can help you, I can distort you so you can see the words clearly," said Gli.

"While I appreciate the offer, I don't want to have to rely on you too much, cause it isn't like we will always be together, so I need to know how to deal with it for the future," said Elle.

"Why did the teacher sit you at the back though?" asked Gli.

"Apparently it's to train dyslexia out of me, I don't think he knows how dyslexia works, and I am starting to question his capability as a teacher, but oh well," responded Elle.

"Everyone settle down, class is about to begin, now I shall give you all a warm welcome to the hero school, the school for heroes, in this class you will learn to be heroes." said the teacher.

Later Back at the apartment Kitty, Katze, and Yumuko were home, and Hitch walked through the door, she had long wavy blue and green hair and pink eyes she was about a middle-aged woman, she generally seemed to wear black.

"You 3 are ready, our vigilante activity starts tonight, " Hitch said.

"Wait seriously," responded Kitty.

"Yeah I have been investigating, we are going to take down a corrupt hero, I sent him a warning to confess, outlining 3 days, it has been 4 days, I am going, I am going to glitch him out then you lot break his spine, should be simple enough"

"What's his crime," asked Katze

"Who cares, he is a corrupt hero, let's fucking take him down" responded Yumuko.

"Katze asked a good question, this man has used his hero status to seduce young girls, doing acts with them, and then blackmailing them when they try to press charges, his superpower is laser eyes, he can shoot lasers from his eyes, his weakness seems to be that his eyes hurt when he uses his power too much," responded Hitch.

"Isn't breaking his spine a bit too far? "asked Katze.

"Fuck him and his fucking spine," responded Yumuko.

"I agree with Kat, breaking someone's spine, seems a little extreme," muttered Kitty.

"It is the only this we can do to stop his hero work, my glitch can disable his power and body, but it takes energy, I can't use that forever, before I would use my glitch to forceable phase my hand through, and then snap the spine, but Katze if you can use your telekinesis then we can snap it a lot quicker more effortlessly," responded Hitch.

"Wait, you want me to do it, can't someone else do it," responded Katze as he looked at Yumuko.

"What you damn idiot, I can make ice but I can't turn his spine into ice and break it, it is completely on you," Yumuko responded.

"I don't think I am ready," Katze shouted.

"Kat, I don't think you will ever be ready, you are too good of a person, you just have to do it, don't you want to reform hero society, well this is the only way to do it, "Kitty said smiling reassuringly to her big brother.

"Listen to the little kitten, you just have to fucking do it"shouted Yumuko.

"Yumuko shut up," said Katze, for once there was anger in his voice.

"What did you say," shouted Yumuko.

"Shut up. I will do it, but please for the love of god shut the fuck up," shouted Katze.

"Don't fucking swear at me," shouted Yumuko.

"Children," sigh Hitch.

"Sorry Hitch sensei," they both said.

"Anyway you guys need your vigilante costumes and aliases, Katze you are Telocat," said Hitch as she passed him a box.

"I like that," responded Katze, as he received the box.

"Yumuko, you are Snowstorm," said Hitch passing Yumuko a box.

"That fits you," smiled Katze.

"It sounds cool, so yeah," responded Yumuko.

"Nah it's because storms are angry and you are always angry and your power is ice," responded Katze smiling.

"Fuck you," shouted Yumuko.

"Kitty, you are Brown-owl," said Hitch, passing Kitty a box.

"Brown owl?" asked Kitty.

"They are your favorite animal right?" responded Hitch.

"Yeah, I didn't think you knew" smiled Kitty.

"You just talk about them a lot, wasn't like I was actually checking"responded Hitch, she was trying to suppress a smile, Hitch was a very tough love person. They each went into their rooms to change, Hitch had been training them for this since she had adopted them. each of them came out of their room pretty much at the same time.

Kitty was wearing a brown owl hoodie, which had a metal plate on it to protect her, with a metal mask on her face, painted like a brown owl, she had some nice brown gloves, brown trainers, and brown leggings.

Katze was wearing a hoodie that looks like ginger cat gloves that have sharp claws he can pull in and out this help him when He wears a masquerade mask that looks like a cat it is made out of hard iron, he also wears an iron chest plate on the inside of his hoodie.

Yumuko was wearing a hoodie the color of ice, with a metal plate inside for protection, with a blue mask over his eyes like a masquerade mask with little snowflakes painted on, the mask is made of hard iron, and blue gloves, blue leggings, and blue trainers all a light blue.

"On missions, you will address me as the Corrector, and address each other as codenames, understood?" asked Hitch.

"Yes, Hitch sensei" they all shouted.

"Oh yes I almost forgot did Gli get to school alright, I already sent all of the stuff for her dorm earlier?" asked Hitch.

"Yeah she seemed fine, I am going to miss seeing her every day though," sighed Kitty.

It was nighttime now, and they crept out of the building and made their way to the target following Hitch.

Meanwhile.

"So this is the dorm, it's rooms of two people right?"Asked Gli.

"Yeah, what dorm are you in?" asked Elle.

"Dorm room 3," responded Gli.

"So am I, it's so good I get to share my dorm room with my friend," Elle stated in excitement.

They headed to their dorm room, their suitcases were already there and they started to unpack while talking about nothing in particular.

"Is that a teddy bear?"Asked Elle, as she stared at a teddy bear on Gli's bed it was a brown teddy bear that was fluffy.

"Yeah, it helps me sleep," sighed Gli.

"That's super cute," said Elle.

"Really you don't think it's weird?" asked Gli she was surprised.

"No I think it's brave, you had no idea who you would be sharing your room with, but you still brought it with you, even tho you might of been made fun of, look I have a teddy bear, they can be friends, just like we are, what is yours called?" Elle said with a smile.

"Cuddles," smiled Gli.

"Aw that's cute, mine is called death destruction teddy the 3rd," responded Elle.

"But, it's pink and fluffy," said Gli.

"Did I stutter?" asked Elle.

"And why the 3rd what happened to the other two?" asked Gli.

"They were slaughtered by the monster known as the mustard, the family dog may their souls find their way to heaven, rest in peace, death destruction teddy the 1st, and death destruction teddy the 2nd." sighed Elle.

"Uhh rest in peace I guess," responded Gli, she wasn't quite sure what to say.

"Apparently tomorrow we have combat training we better get some sleep," suggested Elle.

"Yeah, good idea"responded Gli.

And they both went to bed.

Meanwhile, the new vigilantes had arrived at their destination.
