Chapter 1 - Chapter 1- Lucas Morais

At Wellington High School, Senior High School Building, 3rd Floor, Library.

Lucas is currently reading a book that he has been reading in the library since yesterday. Lucas was so engrossed in his reading that he didn't notice the passing of time. Riiiinggg- the bell rings to signal the end of the class, and Lucas is startled as he panics and scrambles out of the library as soon as he sees the time. The book Lucas had just read closed itself, and no one noticed the light coming from the title on the cover, "The Theory of the Second World."

Lucas quickly runs towards his classroom, but he is too late; his classmates are already packing their belongings and cleaning their desks in preparation for the trip home. A chubby student rushes up to him and scolds him "Lucas, Lucas! What happened to you? Don't you realize you just missed the surprise long quiz?. The teacher said that you should go to the Teacher's Office to meet him. What are you going to do now?, Aishhh. The exam is difficult, and I wish you luck. Set an alarm or simply ask the librarian to notify you of the time the next time you read at the library. Okay, see you later, brother!" The fatty then exits the room, with his belly bouncing.

"Okay, Mr. Morais, you're late yet again! As a punishment, I want you to complete this quiz in 30 minutes or less." The teacher huffs as he walks away, leaving Lucas depressed and staring at the sheet of paper on which he is about to answer. "What the hell is this, how can I answer a 100-item quiz with a solution in 30 minutes, Sir sure is mad at me today, huh?" Lucas grumbles as he begins the most agonizing 30 minutes of his life.

30 minutes is a short time, but it is still a long time for us if we are just resting or relaxing, but for Lucas, this 30 minutes is as quick as a blink of an eye. Lucas was hurriedly writing when his teacher returned. "Your 30-minute time limit has lapsed! Please hand over your answer sheet and solutions to me." Lucas was taken aback as he checked the time on his watch "Whatt?? 30 minutes gone in an instant? I only answered ten items, and it's already time?" But Lucas didn't have a choice; he grudgingly handed the sheets to his teacher, his eyes red. "All right, you can leave. Next time, make sure you come to my classes, huh?" Lucas is left alone by the teacher, who appears to be satisfied by his sufering.

Lucas grumbles as he walks home. "Hmp! That teacher sure is dreadful. What kind of punishment is that? He should have simply spanked me or allowed me to squat in the corner. What should I do now? I'm pretty sure I'll fail this class "He exhaled a sigh. "Hais, old teachers sure are mischievous." Lucas quickly arrived at his home, which is only a 15-minute walk from the school. When Lucas unlocked the door, he was greeted by shelves upon shelves of books. "This is what you call heaven, isn't it?" Lucas hangs his bag at the back of the door and takes off his shoes and socks, which he neatly arranges on the shoe rack. He walked over to the sofa and sat down. Lucas dozed off as soon as his head hit the pillows due to the test's high level of pressure and stress.
