Its the year 391 of the 4th era in the dead of night the villagers could hear wailing throughout the village of Calydon the wails were coming from a small shack at the edge of town where two travellers were staying one a towering man-made of muscles and a woman who had a very large bump on her stomach.
The pair had come to the village about a week ago and they were looking for shelter from the brewing storm that raged on for the rest of that night. Since that day the villagers were curious about the two and spent their days peeking through the shrubbery and over the walls observing the two. The only one who left the shack was the man who would wander into the forest every morning and come back with a rabbit or two presumably for their lunch.
The villagers didn't think much about the woman not leaving the shack as they presumed the bump was because the woman was pregnant which they soon discovered was true and when they wandered closer to the wails they saw the woman giving birth. They quickly sent someone out to the shaman's hut on the other side of the village and he arrived within a few minutes soon after the wailing turned to the cries of a newborn.
The cries went on for hours but the shaman eventually calmed the infant and handed him over to the mother who looked drained of life the man presumably the father stood next to her bed with tears welling up in his eyes. The villagers left quickly after the shaman asked them to so the parents and child could get the rest they need the shaman then formally introduced himself to the parents " I am Coran the shaman of this village may I ask you your names"? The man introduced himself first "My name is Rokan and this is my partner Atila we thank you for your help".
They spoke throughout the night where the man revealed that they were both from a mercenary company called the 'Red Suns' and they both fled from their camp at night. They then went on to say how they are being hunted by said mercenaries due to the reason why they fled which they did not want to reveal to protect the people of this village.
The final topic they discussed was that because they are always travelling and running from ruthless mercenaries they cannot take the child with them. They have decided it would not be fair on the child growing up with no friends and always running and that it would be unsafe for the child. So they asked the shaman if he could care for the child so they could grow up with friends in a loving home.
