I blink my eyes a few times, but it's still blur. I don't know the place where I am right now. So, I wipe my eyes a few times, and there is someone in a hazy view who is giving me a hand to stand up. I can see in close up view that this beautiful person who is giving a hand, she also looks like someone in a position.
"Good day, Freshmen!". A woman speaks up, the one who is kind to extend her arms helping me to stand.
"She is our professor.", I heard a whisper from the crowd when they saw her writing in notebook using the quill. When she stops on writing, it happens that thousand of colorful fireflies come together coming from nowhere, and it covers us individually. So, I feel so amazed to question in my mind, 'there is a magic in here?'. It means she is not using a typical piece of material notebook and quill, I guess.
Wooooh! I just notice when a fireflies slowly fadeaway on my vision, my suit is changing and the rest of the students in here with me. It is cool! Especially the fabric really fit comfortably.
I walk towards the huge mirror. I see myself looks so formal on wearing blue pants, a pair of white boots with the logo of CHEA embriod at the right side. And when my hands slowly touching the upper dress I'm wearing. I notice that I'm covered with a outer layers of coat, the inner white collar- long sleeves tuck in with inside the pants, and a middle layer of blue-V neck no sleeves with the logo of CHEA again but embriod at the left side.
Aside from it, professor gives us individually the long white-cape attached with a different gold badge, it looks like the width of cloth's tip both sides was tailored in opposite side of the badge to form an arc. I received a cape with the badge of eagle hand holding a lightning bolt, and I know that it is the representation of my clan, but I find it hard how to put on my uniform.
I look at the mirror again, and I saw a girl same as me wearing the same shoes and upper clothes, but only make it different is the blue pencil shirt she's wearing as well as the badge.
"Hey!, did you find hard how to wear it?.", she is watching me directly at the mirror.
"Oh, yes...". I'm speechless of her beauty.
She smiles, "Can I have yours?.". I give my badge to her without hesitation.
"This badge must attached at the top of your right shoulder so that the long white-cape is flawless fall covering your half-body. I think you haven't read yet the handbooks, right?". She places it slowly, while her eyes catch mine by a sudden. Apparently, she discards and make her eyes focus on what she is doing.
"The purpose of this is to cover your right arm where we can hide the quilbousk.", she added to ease the awkward moment.
"I absolutely did not read any of the handbooks yet, what do you mean by it?.", I asked with the face looking confused.
"Quilbousk is the magical quill and blank-sheet magical notebook or they usually called it a bousk. By the way, are we not going with them?.". She is referring to other freshmen whose busy on putting the cape and some are amazed by what they are wearing.
I start to walk along with her, and we go together to where the group of freshmen with our professor standing at the same place. "So, what are we doing now?", I whispered to her.
"I also don't have any idea, but I think of waiting to Professor for further instruction.", she response in a low tone vioce.
My eyes suddenly catch the attention of our professor roaming around with her eyes looking directly at me, but it discard in a second when she is trying to figure out others condition with their looked.
"Listen everyone! All of you should make a two line straight.", professor commands us while walking back and forth, and we follow the command as fast as we can. "Good! As we step outside the back stage. All of you should walk properly without breaking the line, everyone is it crystal?.".
"CLEAR!.", yeah 'clear' we shout respectfully so loud.
"By the way, I'm Professor Dane. Now I'm telling everyone to must lend your ears actively, when the headmaster called us for acquaintance we need to step outside, but for now we need to listen as the program will start.", professor reminds us.
So, this is supposed to be the backstage where we are standing right now. It is a dim place and full of unnecessarily necessary things, but not a creepy.
I roam my eyes around as I'm about to gasp what is the place actually looks like.
"Greetings of joy! To all Humasocri, let us give the stage to our headmaster Kwala, a round of an applause.", the announcer speaks that triggers us to pay attention.
"Thank you everyone, to our officials and students, we gather together here in the Arc of Dome as one Humasocri to witness and welcome all freshmen enter the Characterous Humilitre Eddhin Academe (CHEA). Let's give them a tumbling sound of welcome!.".
It is like everyone roaring outside, when Professor Dane step on the stage professionally with us following behind her. And when I'm about to step on the stage, it looks fascinating to watch the place around outside the backstage.
I can see a huge marble rocks laying on the ground and piled like an arc ladder, but it is actually a bench where every student suit like us, are sitting on marble rocks. I notice that the bench is divided into four by filling between a high ancient column design, and there are banners hanging from different kingdoms of knights, start at left column is the banner of Natur Knights (Soil Socerers), follow by the Solventous Knights (water sorcerers), the Blowinder Knights (wind sorcerers), and lastly the Luminous Knights (Lightner sorcerers) where I belong.
Above the place is full of a cloud giving with colors from the reflection of lights. It shows a color of rosy gold, violet and orange just like a sunset view changing every second. Underneath the clouds are thousand of freezing rain droplets that illuminates the surrounding, it is huge like a bulb. I wonder why it does not fall apart, and I remember this is a real definable of magic. So, this is what I'm waiting for, a fascinating place. Yes, there is a transition of a place from old century structure when I arrived into the school of magic, woooow!
All of us freshmen are coming together on the stage to take a picture, and then we use to bow as a sign of respect with our hand placed on the chest. Everyone is clapping their hands around the place after we did it.
Then, Professor Dane leads us to step out and sit at the fifty chairs organized in front of the stage, facing the headmaster, head officials, and professors sitting on the stage as they introduced individually their name and position to us.
"My dear Freshmen, I'm your headmaster Kwala", he introduces first, then follow by the four master officials from different kingdom, four professor handling all levels, including professor Dane. Everyone of them are wearing black cape covers their entire body with gold lace attached to a neck.
Unexpectedly there are amazing Sigbins come on the stage wearing black karategi with the logo of CHEA on the left side (The color white creature- half human and half animal). They are introduced after the master, headmaster and professors. I can see that Sigbins have donkey's huge ears, hoarse's arms and legs, also a long blond tail and hair, they are assigned for maintenances and security of academia.
'So, there are Humasocri assigned for maintenances?', I ask myself when I recall the look of 15 century structure, looked so old and messy.
Anyway, I choose to sit in front of the chair to watch them all clearly. When I notice that master Ampara, the representative from Luminous knights keep watching on me directly with a frightening strike of looks.
"You", he moves his lips whispering slowly.
I look around to see whose he intended to call, but no one who is looking at him except for me. So, I pointed myself, "Me?.".
Ampara nods his head and whisper again, "Good luck!.".
"This is the moment, the moment that everyone is waiting for, Humasocri.", headmaster speaks. And everyone around us are cheerful and loud cause by the excitement they are feeling right now, including some of professors.
Headmaster shows his both hands holding with with the bousk on the left and quill at the right hand to write a spell, and say, 'Diwatas, the keeper of quilbousk, come together to join us here.'. From the words of the spell, ''Diwatas, tagou al quilbousk, kari al diri.'', the actual words he said.
There are five fireflies come together on the stage. Eventually they all transformed into white glowing ladies from head to foot, they are so beautiful from a gold hair, lovely faces, catching eyes, and dwarf's ear full of gold earrings. They all bow and together say in chorus, "headmaster, wallas amparsi". It means, 'headmaster, we are nice meeting you.". The headmaster respond to them in the same way.
It happens now that headmaster asks all freshmen to individually come on stage to get the heart of quilbousk, and I'm sitting in ninth chair, so that I still have a time to calm myself. The first one who gets the heart of quilbousk is the student from Natur knights, 'Oh! He is Felosh', I can recognized him.
The quilbousk are coming from five different categories as it was explained by headmaster. Each quilbousk are securely hold by Diwatas and placed at the bottom of their bodies where the heart is found, while they standing horizontally in a position with a distance apart.
Headmaster whispers something to Felosh. Then, he touches every quilbousk right after his conversation to headmaster. Now I can see last quilbousk was glowing, I think of a sign that Felosh is getting the heart of quilbousk.
"Felosh, a freshman with major subject of Reflicta Pacentious.", headmaster declares, and professor Jude claps his hands and nod at the same time supporting everyone of us cheerfully. Including Ursa, the girl I had a talked lately at the backstage is also taking major subject in Reflicta Pacentious.
Now it is my time, I walk with my head down. I did the same of what others do, and I get the heart of quilbousk, Reflicta Pacentious. Everyone around, including professors, and Ampara the master representative of Luminous knights at the school of CHEA, all of them look frustrated.
I give him everyone a confuse looks.👀 ??
"Okay, next", the headmaster was also frustrated as he sat on his chair.". I go down the stage heading back to my place, then Felosh whisper while I pass on him, "it's okay.". I just nod my head, and continue to walk until I arrived on my chair. And Ursa is tapping my shoulder twice.
"Dear Humasocri! Are you having fun? Now you have noticed the freshmen all throughout this ceremony, at this moment the time is yours Sophies, juniors and seniors in your another year in CHEA."
They are falling a line to return their quilbousk to quardo majica (the treasure chamber), in order to get another quilbousk to Diwatas, like we did earlier but to them the rules is different because there is an exception as to how they will choose the quilbousk in five categories. As what the rules said, once you are done with theme you can never recall but return it ,and once you can't finish it still have to do it again until you acquired to pass the theme of major subject.
