The doctor entered Elaine's room, Elaine who was listening to the song stopped. She put her earphones by her side "I came because I want to hear the results from you" The doctor who looked a little old said.
Elaine smiled at the doctor and extended her hand that was pricked by the needle to the doctor "I accept this pain" she said shortly. The doctor could only smile when he could think of the answer given to him. "In a moment I will call the nurse to come remove the needle" he said and walked towards the door but he stopped there and turned towards Elaine
"If one day you can no longer bear the pain, I will still do the surgery even if you don't allow it because for a doctor, it's lives that we need to save" he said and left. Elaine nodded in understanding.
Elaine was outside the hospital door and she raised her hand that was no longer needle-free "I will make sure the pain comes slowly" she said and walked towards the taxi.
While in the taxi, the words from her friend Sarah began to clear in her memory.
Sarah sat next to Elaine "Elaine, it's been 2 times and this might be the 3rd time you've left him, do you really love and cherish him, is it because you know he only loves you and even though you left him many times , he will still wait for you, that stupid man might not be able to go through a moment like this after this" Sarah said.
Elaine cried loudly "I know I'm bad for treating his love and obedience like that, I also want to be with him but I'm afraid that one day I'll die in front of him, every time I leave him, my soul is tortured because I'm afraid of losing him, Daniel always comes to torture me and that torture makes me afraid to be with Nick, I always think about hurting Daniel but I'm afraid I'll hurt Nick by mistake" She said while crying. Sarah hugged her friend.
The sound of a hooting from the taxi woke Elaine up. Elaine got out of the taxi and stood outside Nick's house. Elaine took out her phone and dialed Nick's number.
In the house, Nick sat on the floor watching a video of him and Elaine on TV. The sound of the phone ringing made Nick get up and rush to the dining table. He picked up the phone and saw the name of the caller he was waiting for so much. Tears flowed in his eyes and his hands trembled and he strengthened his heart and answered the call "Honey, where are you now" He said with a throbbing voice.
Elaine who heard the voice also shed tears "I'm sorry for leaving you but you promised me that you would take care of yourself but why are you stupidly torturing your body because of me" She said in an angry tone.
Nick shook his head "Today I have eaten, I did what I promised you, If you think what I said is a lie, come back here and see if I deceived you" He said trembling. Elaine wiped her tears "Nick, I always hurt your feelings and always left you without telling you why" She said.
"I never hated you for what you did. Maybe your behavior made me sad and disappointed, but I once said that you were my life. As long as you have love for me in your heart, I will always be waiting for you even if you leave me a thousand times," he said while crying.
