Elaine drove to Nick's house and they got out of the car when they arrived. "Okay, we're here, Later, you'll take medicine" Elaine said. Nick looked at Elaine with a serious face "I want to ask you something, I actually feel weird when you treat me so well, aren't you keeping a distance because of Darren" Nick asked.
Elaine seemed unable to speak as she felt her mouth as heavy to lift. "Elaine, you know I like you, why you, please don't hurt my heart if you can't reply my feelings" Nick said in a trembling tone.
Elaine was in tears and emotional when she hear Nick's expression and she pulled Nick's shirt collar close to her and she kissed Nick, Nick closed his eyes and kissed Elaine too. Elaine stopped kissing Nick and she cried "I'm sorry, we can't be together, you deserve a better happiness than me" Elaine said with a sad smile to Nick. Elaine quickly got into her car and drove away, Nick watched the car move fast, then he tried to chase "Elaine, wait for me, Elaine" Nick said with a loud scream.
Elaine cried out loud in the car "Elaine why did you kiss him, you knew he would be in danger because of you for the second time" She said to herself. Elaine stopped her car in the parking lot and scowled. "I'd better go to mama's house" Elaine said and drove back. While Elaine was leaving, Nick came with his car and entered the elevator and headed to Elaine's house. He knocked on the door many times "Elaine, come out now, you remember everything right, otherwise you won't kiss me, Elaine open this door" Nick said.
At Mr. Gu's house, Elaine enters the room and sits on the bed and she opens the drawer and holds the key "Luckily this key is still here" Elaine said. The sound of a phone call from Nick was still unanswered by Elaine. She turned off his phone and went to sleep.
The next morning, Elaine woke up and felt dizzy. "My old illness won't reappear" Elaine said and took a shower. Elaine came out of the room and headed to the kitchen, she saw Mrs. Gu was making tea "Mama good morning" Elaine said and took a piece of bread. Mrs. Gu saw Elaine "Yesterday you came home why not tell us, mama can cook food for you" Said Mrs. Gu. Elaine hugged her mom "Elaine doesn't want to wake up you, after all yesterday I went to sleep when I saw the bed" Elaine said jokingly. Mrs. Gu chuckled "You want to go now" Mrs. Gu asked. "I'll go first, bye mama" Elaine said as she waved and left the house.
Elaine climbed the stairs and she was surprised when Nick waited at the door of her painting office. Elaine slowly walked towards Nick and she stopped in front of Nick "What are you doing here, don't tell me you that you are waited for me all night here" Elaine said. Nick stood up with a pale face "I went to your house but you were not there, so this is the only place you will come" Nick said while coughing.
Elaine hardened her face and took the door lock and opened the door. Elaine pulls Nick inside, She pours boiling water and puts the medicine inside. "Drink and get out of here now" Elaine said as she handed it to Nick. Nick looked at Elaine "Before I take the medicine, I want to eat these nuts first" Nick said and tried to eat.
Elaine was shocked and she squeezed the beans until they were scattered on the floor "You're crazy, you can't eat beans" Elaine was angry with Nick. "So that's my guess, you already remember everything including about the two of us" Nick said. Elaine scowled and she sat down in the chair
"Nick, even though I remember everything, we still can't go back in that time, you know what we've both been through, I don't want to go through it again" Elaine said while dripping tears. Nick lowered his body and held Elaine's hand while crying "I, I understand, that incident really hurt us a lot, but I still love you and will always love you, Elaine, I beg for a second chance, I'm sure I can protect you, please" Nick said .
Elaine pulled her hand away and got up "There's nothing we need to talk about, I want you to get out of here now and don't come see me" Elaine said rudely. Nick stood up and walked out of there with feeling sad. Elaine saw Nick was gone and she sat crying on the floor.
At home, Nick is sick. Leon and Fu pei come quickly after getting a call from Nick. They open the door of Nick's house and see Nick lying on the floor. They lifted Nick on the couch and gave him medicine "You're so sick but you still don't want to take medicine, you always want to be healthy, but why are you neglecting your health now" Fu pei asked.
"She has remembered everything but she doesn't want to give me a second chance, why did she make me like this" Nick said in a weak voice. "You fought with Elaine" Leon asked. Nick nodded. "Where is Nick, our friend who will not give up to pursue his happiness as well as protect the people he loves, Nick you have to prove to Elaine with your sincerity, don't sit here crying" Fu pei said encouragingly.
At that time Nick felt calm "Yes you're right, if I'm serious, we will definitely be reunited" Nick said.
