Anubis left the door where she was standing and walked away with several thoughts running in her mind,she remembered what Azazel told her the last time they met,
"For the fact you are hatred driven and seek vengeance doesn't mean you'll have to go about destroying innocent lives,it doesn't worth it" the statement kept running through her mind as she thought of what the healer said about the boy, "did he actually deserve what i did to him??.... i guess not! i messed up really big" She thought to herself as she walked pass her class until she unintentionally got to the infirmary where Uriel was,by the time she came back to her senses it was already late because Zenel had already seen her,
"Are you perhaps looking for Uriel ?" The smallish boy asked Anubis as he came out of the room,she kept quiet as she was contemplating what she would say,they both stood there staring at each other until they heard Uriel's voice from the inside,Zenel rushed inside to see him while Anubis stood at the door,
"Uriel is there a problem?" Zenel asked as he approached his friend who was lying on the bed looking ghostly pale,
"I thought i heard you speaking with someone....who was that? did anyone come to visit me?" Uriel asked his friend while taking a slight glance at the door,
"No Uriel...nobody came" was the answer he got and he dropped his shoulders in disappointment," I thought i had friends? so why didn't they come visit me ?" where the thoughts running in his mind as he sighed helplessly,..."But i came to visit you!! or am i not welcomed?"... He was about to loose hope when he heard a familiar but dreaded voice enter his ears,he wasn't ready to hear the voice,not now that he was as weak as an old dying child!! the two boys turned to look at the door and it was Anubis!! Zenel stared at her blankly, "what is she doing here...she actually came in??! shit!!" Zenel cursed inwardly,while Uriel kept staring at her like she was a ghost,Anubis saw the look of fear in his eyes and smiling slightly she walked towards his bed and sat down on the chair close to it.
"Are you surprised or shocked to see me?" she asked as she stared at Uriel...."I am sorry!!" she said again causing the two boys to open their eyes wide in shock, " Is she actually apologizing??" were their thoughts as they stared at her with wide eyes,
"I shouldn't have done what i did,i know i hurt you and I'm sorry,i will take full responsibility for what i did to you!" she said and stood up,she glanced at him briefly and left the room, the boys looked at each other and back to the door,they didn't seem to understand what just happened now!
"Did she just apologized to me??she came to see me?!" Uriel said to himself, " but even though,what can she do?? she's already damaged me this bad!! there's nothing she can do again to restore my powers"
Zenel looked at his friend in pity,they were both from the same city and town in fact they grew up together in the orphanage where they later ran away from because they were treated poorly and weren't able to awaken their ability, they decided to make money by doing works for rich mages until they got enough to enroll them into the school,it hadn't been long they both awakened the air element and now his friend's inner core is damaged,there was no how he can awaken any element again,all his years of toil and pains have been crushed by a girl who knew nothing about him, "uhmmm.. Uriel don't loose hope just yet okay??" he sighed deeply and said to his friend who only shook his head and faced the wall.
