Kosho - "What the hell is this bullshit? The more it goes on, the more crap you tell us."
Me - "I told you, even I'm skeptical about this rule, so stop complaining and let me do the talking."
Kosho - "If even you are skeptical about it, then how can we believe you? And by the way, who's the idiot who invented this fucking rule?"
- "I did"
- "I did"
Well, on this one, I didn't expect them to say of themselves that they came up with the rule. But there is no doubt that the two people who were most surprised were Kana and Shanlen. They both told me about it, but they had no idea that the other knew. And from the way they reacted, I think it's going to be an interesting discussion.
Shanlen: "What? How is that possible? How could you possibly know that rule?"
Kana - "That's exactly what I'm wondering. Yùichi, did you tell him?"
Me - "Absolutely not. I'm not responsible for this at all. You both told me about it on your own.
Shanlen: "So that means someone here leaked the information."
It was a very unlikely solution, but since there were 11 of us who knew about it, it's possible that someone leaked it, even though it's a very small possibility knowing the people here, I wouldn't see anyone leaving information like that in the hands of just anyone.
Kana - "I don't think so. I just think it's a coincidence that we both thought of this rule.
Shanlen - "So, according to you, it's just coincidence that we both had the same idea and told the same person."
Kana - "I can't tell you if it was chance or not, but that's probably what happened."
Shanlen - "Anyway, let's move on. Yes, I did come up with the idea for this rule, and as Yùichi said, it's very hard to think of it now, but it fits perfectly with the historical facts."
Kosho - "Yeah it fits, but if we follow your logic, we can very well believe that before year 0, there was nothing at all or then in year 0 humans were born. That's a bit of a big lie.
Shanlen: "That's exactly what we're saying. Before the year 0, there was nothing because the last Final War had just ended.
Kosho - "Damn, but Yùichi, why do you let such big assholes say such big bullshit."
Ojoth - "Oh fuck, you're starting to piss me off with your stupid answers. If we tell you something you just accept it and shut the fuck up so you don't bother us anymore."
I didn't really expect Ojoth to intervene now, but at least what he said was clear, even if the tone was probably not the right one.
The only thing that could be annoying is if Kosho gets into his game and starts insulting him in return, if that's the case he could get into trouble for nothing and that won't be good for the future.
Shanlen - "Ojoth stops looking for trouble everywhere. He just doesn't agree with me, that's why we're having this discussion. But he's not wrong about one thing, insult me again and you'll come out in a bad way."
Kosho - "Oh I see, are those threats?"
Shanlen - "For now, yes, but at the slightest insult, we'll move on to a gesture. Understand?"
Kosho - "Ahah, no problem, I'm pretty good at taking action."
Well, the situation turned out differently than I would have thought, but at least they're all off to a good start.
Me - "Well, since no one has anything more to say, I'll move on to the fifth and final rule. No, actually it's not really a rule, it's more of a practical information.
Alia - "What do you mean, 'practical information'?"
Me - "It doesn't go without saying that you are all aware that we have a card that can normally appear in our mind."
Angelo - "And so, what does this have to do with practical information?"
Me - "Well, I can teach you how to use it."
Angelo - "Oh, that's it? Personally I already know how to do it so I don't care."
- "Me too, I know."
- "Yeah, me too."
- "Yeah, too simple."
- "Yeah, it's logical, everybody knows how to do it."
So now I'm really surprised, I thought I was bringing them something new, but here I am, proud of something that everyone else already knows.
But at least it made me realize that everyone knows how to use it, and some of them better than me.
Shanlen - "Is that all you had to say?
Me - "About the rules and the important things yeah, I'm done."
Shanlen - "Well then, we'll leave, because we still have a lot to do."
Me - "Nah nah, don't go yet, I haven't finished everything."
Shanlen - "What are you going to tell us now?
Me - "I need to talk to you about preparing for the war."
Shanlen: "What do you mean?"
Me - "Well, stay that way and you'll find out."
It wasn't a very convincing argument, but at least I managed to hold them off for a while, hopefully it will be enough for me to explain the rest of our preparation.
Me - "Well, I have just told you everything I know about the rules and things to know before starting the war. But the second part of my speech has just begun. And that will be about the preparation for the war. So you have two choices in front of you, which I will briefly outline for you. The first will be to do everything I tell you to be as prepared as possible for the first of January, and the second will depend solely on yourself."
Lysis - "What do you mean, 'to do everything I tell you'? Like we become your slaves?"
Me - "Ideally that would be it, but knowing your personality it will be impossible. So what I meant by that is to train you and do things according to what I tell you to do.
Lysis - "And the second part, we can do what we want?
Me - "Yes, that's right, your training will be your own business and I won't interfere in any way in your occupations. However, you should know that this second option is totally stupid. If you want to cooperate with me, you must choose the first option. Whoever chooses the second option will have to say goodbye to any chance of an alliance. The choice is in your hands.
