Chapter 10 - The Melody of the Family

"Sir Noel Peirce Coward was a nobleman. He was not just a coward as his name sounds, but a creator of all. He deserved to be honored. A true nobleman always creates a strong relationship with one another. No matter the distance, color or where he comes from. He always appreciates the nature of man.

King Nicholas Easton Winton is a noble king who dwells in the Light Castle City of the ancient gods. He is a true loyalist to the Royal House of Merriment."

It is truly saying that, a fly who does not listen to an instruction, always follow the corpse to the grave. In the world, we lives today; life shouldn't have been tempered with. As a matter of facts, life worth a living. But it shouldn't have been toyed with. No matter whether it is worthy or unworthy to live; life worth a living.

Katrin Oliver finally put an end to the life of a gentle man who always acknowledges the love of everyone around him.

As an opened minded man, his life had jacked the life of others to danger. And put the entire family in total darkness at the age of 42.

J. J. as James due called her – had become a widow, declaring the little young boy, Lawrence as an orphan. The entire Pomoor County was not left out. They also feels the pains for the death of James Parker who was a medical Doctor. He was the first medical Doctor in the whole Pomoor County.

What a sorrow in the hearts of the indigenous people of Pomoor County.

It is only those who sees tomorrow can tell the story; not those who have gone to the bottomless pit, but the living souls can say it all.

A year later, Jessica could not be able to pay the house rent, neither to feed for a day. She park to his permanent resident at #19, Water Front Lane, Pomoor City.

Jessica was a well-trained fashion designer for over ten years. She took over James and Jessica Fashion Enterprise, popularly known as J. J. Fashion Hub as an executive officer of the company.

When Katrin Oliver, a notorious gang leader heard that Jessica was about to take over the company as a CEO. from the hands of the caretaker committee. Katrin went there at night and set the entire building into flames of fire.

What a calamity in the face of a widow!

The melody of the family is in the heart of a child. No one can do without a child. Time has come for the little young boy to start school, but there was nothing left behind for the mother to train him. Jessica never minds the scandal she would face in the office of the head teacher. She decided and take Lawrence to meet the head teacher of the school, Pomoor Central Primary School, Villa Park, Pomoor City for registration.

When she arrived at the school premises, she met the head teacher and shared a little light on the condition of the young boy after the dead of his father. However when the head teacher heard what happened to Lawrence's father, he made a vow to pay the admission fee to Lawrence for free.

At that very time, Lawrence was five years old when he started the school.

The very first day in school, the teachers were all amaze to see Lawrence alive, since the ugly incident happened to him during the first week of birth.

After he might have registered, the head teacher admitted Lawrence to elementary one class; and the mother left him at the school premises and returned home. The school was highly populated, due to modern facilities provided by the Central Government, which attract more parents to send their wards to the school.

Lawrence was a brilliant child; he always took first in the class. Because of his competency, he was appointed as a class prefect.

Whenever his class teacher, Mr. Andrew Thomson, saw him, he remembered the ugly incident that took place during the time of his birth, and that of his father's death. The teacher gave him a nickname, 'Who knows tomorrow.'

During break time, his classmates love to share biscuits and a bottle of water with him. When he was in primary six class, he took part in the national easy competition, where he took the first position. And they awarded him a scholarship that would cover up to secondary level. But the evil men, behind him, don't give him the highway to run the rest. Because of corruption in the school system in Arctilumania, the head teacher diverted the scholarship to another pupil in the same school.

Three months later, the local School Board gave the head teacher, indefinite suspension and they fully returned the scholarship to Lawrence James. Thereafter there was no stress for the mother to pay any school fees.

During the long holiday period, the young little boy, Lawrence James, paid a visit to his grandparents, Jackson Rowe, since he was born.

On his arrival at Villa Park, the hometown of Jackson Rowe; he was so happy to see his grandparents, living a life of poverty. While there are still laughing like rich people. Lawrence was the only grandchild in Jackson Rowe's family. To his surprise, he saw a house made of woods and grasses on a bush track, closed to the Zoo in Villa Park; a kind of house that fit American people in ancient days.

Whenever he walked close to the Zoo, he wondered how birds are gathering in the shadowy forest within the Zoo. And for a little while, he heard unfamiliar sounds of birds, twittering, often and often.

With the happiness of seeing his grandchild, Jackson Rowe took Lawrence to a tour, around the major places in the city. The very first place they visit was a Zoo, which attracts Lawrence attention as much as he could hear the flowing twit of the birds. Thereafter, Jackson Rowe took him to the central post office. There also visited the Palace of King Pedro the 2nd, the crown king of Janport Island. Jackson Rowe as well, took him to the cemetery where his father, James Parker, was being buried. No one knows why, and no one knows why he did that to the young boy.

When they approached the cemetery, Jackson Rowe, the grandpa gave him a bunch of rose flower to place on the tombstone of his late father, James Parker. However, when Jackson Rowe show the little boy, Lawrence; the picture of his dad as it was engraved on the tombstone, Lawrence cry and cried bitterly. And it was difficult to stop him not to cry at the moment.

Jackson Rowe think on how to call the grandma, Mary to come over in other to comfort him. But as the nature may have it, he remembered that his wife, Mary, could not walk down to the place. His mind fly to the side of God on how such thing happened to his wife without the help of God who made all humans. But later on, he will's his mind back and said. "They say the God who made us as human, can't do us anything evil. . . . But God, you knows everything in the life of a man, I cannot pour the blames on you, but let your will be done and made my wife well, once again. And then I will testify your goodness in my life in many assemblies. May he please thee to help her before I became a hundred years of age." Then he looked back and continue the moment.

On their way going, his grandpa took him to Villa Park Central market and bought him a big, big jumbo bicycle. Arriving home, the little young boy took the jumbo bicycle and presented it to his grandma. "Grandma, look, grandpa had bought me a big, big jumbo bicycle in the market square."

The grandma reply to him. "That's fine . . . ." Though she could not see him, or the bicycle. The grandma replied to him, "Have you greeted the grandpa?"

The little boy replied to her. "Yes, I have greeted him very well."

When nature hits the clocks at 7:00 p.m., the grandma tells him some moonlight stories, which Lawrence like to listen to it.

The most interesting story he do like was a story of a King, who travel to a faraway distance land and the grandma began the story. "Story, story."

"Story," Lawrence replied.

"Once upon a time, there was a King called King Nicholas Easton Winton, alias, 'The Singer of life,' who loves to travel from one strange land to another. After travelling to different places, having no interest in any of these communities, he moved further to a foreign land, closer to a particular kingdom; where there were so many abandon resources to work with. And he stops there to look for where he can stay.

His intention was also to travel there to restore peace in the kingdom after many years of war. Immediately he arrived there, he healed the people that fell sick and settled them to leave as one.

Three years later, he decided not to go back to his hometown, and they gave him a first class honor to rule them as a noble king.

As a Singer of life, he travels along the ley line with his two white horses, and Mr. Willman, also known as Jongleur. The Jongleur was an entertainer to the King; He always makes the king happy at the time of sorrow or difficulties.

When he reached a certain place, the Jongleur informed him about the tiredness of the horses. He told him that, instead of using the two horses, they should use a boat for simple movement, along the Nile of Saintepole river, the Island of the reincarnated people, which he acknowledged the advice of the Jongleur.

Immediately they got to the Nile of the river, King Nicholas Easton Winton, heals some anglers who fell sick from one sickness to another. When the fishes in the river heard what he did, they chanted some melodious songs of praise to him and there sang with their stirring tuned:

"We would overcome, one day

We would overcome forever

In sickness and in sorrow

In pains and in pity

In fairness and of freedom

In the hands of our enemies

We shall free, free, one, day."

But only King Nicholas Easton Winton could hear what the fishes were singing.

Three hours later, they all arrived at a certain Island called Saint Virgin Island, which is closed to the border of Western Etilia – a State with no entrance road, which he lives and take over the Island as his own empire.

He claimed a big portion of land and named it, Light Castle City, which means, the 'City of the ancient gods.'

On the other hands, he couldn't forgot to set up his healing altar as he settled there. When he round up in building his Royal Castle and his virgin healing home, he appointed seven Lords to lead the seven counties that make up the entire empire. Among the seven Lords, he appointed one as the overall head and gave him all the powers to oversee the rest.

As the overall leader, he became more powerful and stronger than others; at the mid point, he misused his powers and authorities by trespassing into other people's land and converting them to his own personal use.

At the end, he died as a coward, instead of dying like a cowboy, followed by his wife and four children.

That is the end of our story.

My grandson, what do you learn from the story?"

Lawrence James stood up, close to her and said. "Grandma, the story tells us that we should always have compassion to one another in our daily living. No matter our color, no matter the distance – either rich or poor; we all are one family.

By having a genuine compassion to one another, we can heal our land from calamity to bring peace and harmony in our society.

Mom, I also learn that we should leave a life of being creative in our daily living.

Grandma, the most important thing I learn from the story is that we should learn how to travel from one place to another, because travelling is part of education."

Grandma, clapped hands for him and ends up with. "Very good, my son, you are very correct. That means, you have listened to my story very well.

My son, the story also tells us that we should learn on how to appreciate someone in any area of life. Because one hand cannot wash itself clean, except by the support of the other hand. And one good thing deserves another.

According to the story, we should learn how to discover new things in our environment: this would enable us to live a better life as Noel Pierce Coward's deed in his lifetime. Again, we should stop converting people's properties to our own use. Because one day, we shall pay for either good or bad work we do in time to come.

A few minutes later, he was carried away; and the grandma took him to bed for a night rest. While Mary, the grandma slept beside him.
