After Sofia saw lei and his fiance together and caused a bit drama at Asachi's office, he didn't pick her call and it made her feel worse she had acted in the moment because of the pain she felt or was it jealousy she wished she had seen a pained expression on adria's face but it was disappointing that she just left and since she tried contacting Asachi he didn't pick or returned the call either 'Ugh' now she was going to confront lei at his hospital as she felt frustrated.
She dressed up and made her way to the hospital getting to the gate she saw lei and his fiance, his fiance seeing her frowned, it was strange as she had met her before and was meeting her today again.
Lei held sang che his wife and pat her soothingly before saying to her "Go inside babe let me have a word with my patient." he said as he stepped forward, when his fiance left he turned to Sofia with a stern expression.
"What are you doing here miss Sofia." he strolled towards her tugged her arm as he took her further from where she was, staring at his soon to be wife.
"I...i wa...." Sofia stammered she had thought she would be able to pour out her heart when she arrived here but staring at lei and his wife to be she knew she wasn't in there league she wasn't a half to them to be preside and last she remembered Mr lei was non other than her bosses friend who was a multi billionaire.
Lei frowned as Sofia couldn't even make a complete statement feeling irritated at the way she looked at him he said in a stressful tone "Leave, I don't want to see you here or any where near my property and if you refuse to comply I would be forced to make you regret we got aquinted, so do urself a favor and leave." he threatened in slow whispers and with that he asked the security to excort her out.
Sofia was mute she didn't know why she didn't say anything when she had the chance but then again what was there to say she just felt nothing but shame as she was accompanied out, when she got to the gate she turned back at the building and began to asked her self why she was even doing this, what was the need, deep down she knew this man was not hers and would never be but why was she here at there gate like a lost puppy again why can't she come to terms with her life being a misery she stared at the hospital one last time before she left the place.
Adria had been quiet busy as she didn't want to have conversation with anyone, she just wants to work her butt off, go home and drown herself in the cold shower.
She sat at her office as she viewed at the television blankly she later stared at the clock and it was almost closing time she sighed as she picked up her pen and signed on a file, immediately her phone rang and she stared at her phone which was ringing when she saw the name that appeared she recalled what happened two days ago and she sighed deeply she was really happy with the fact that they got back together as it was her advice but she would appreciate it if they left her alone she was emotionally and physically exhausted.
She just couldn't understand the people around her from Sofia acting cold towards her to her calling her now, what those she want she picked up the phone and listened to the other end of the phone she listened for a while before ending the call Sofia had invited her to a drink, well she's sorry but she'll have to disappoint her she said as she began to pack up her stuff when she heard a conversation on tv.
"Why do u think Mr Lee and miss Kai has preponed the wedding."
"Wait what?" adria thought to herself.
"It seems miss Kai is pregnant as they are rushing everything."
"Hmm that might be true as we hardly see them publicly and what would make them want a wedding sonner if that wasn't the case huh."
Adria turned to face her table as she thought to herself she probably would be needing the drink Sofia had offer, picking her car keys she drove to the club which Sofia had mentioned, getting there she saw Sofia sitting next to bottle of drinks.
"Hey u made it." said Sofia who was drowning in a pool of sorrow as she drank to her satisfaction.
"mmh." replied adria who took a seat all her life adria had seen a lot of pathetic people but she didn't know why she get disgusted when she come across this particular one.
"Thought you would not make it." Sofia said as her red eyes staring at adria.
"Ha ha why?." adria gave a fake laugh as she stared at Sofia and the waiter passing her more drinks.
"Well I've been nothing but hostile towards you I know adria and I don't plan to stopping soon." Sofia said as she took more sips.
"Hmm." adria replied as she observed Sofia was a bit drunk, she turned to the bartender and made a gesture with her hand waving towards her neck which meant no more.
"I can never be happy Adria."
"What why?." adria frowned at her words that was a big declaration even for a drunk lady.
"Adria you are the reason I can't be happy."
"What!?." adria was shocked if Sofia was sober she would have laughed it off as it sounded as a joke how can she never be happy because of her what did she do.
"Hmm don't you see you have everything to do with my pain you." she pointed at her "Your the reason Asachi and I always have a clash." Sofia pointed at her while nodding.
"What do you mean?." Adria raised a brow as she wasn't really in the mood for this conversation but wanted to hear what she had to say anyway.
"Asachi seems to like you no no he's not going to go forward with our relationship because he feels something for you or should I say you make him think he feels something for you, your such a manipulative lady huh I tried to befriend you but the hate grew more I tried adria I did, I finally left to get some fresh air from the pain I called love just to be used by another guy do you know what happened?."
"No." she listened carefully as she saw the pain in Sofia's eyes.
"He had a fiance adria and she's even pregnant and I'm here. it's all you adria."
This reminded adria of someone she knew, she stared at Sofia they seemed to be in the same mess she thought to herself.
"Well I didn't really feel bad as I love someone already but I..I felt fooled, hahaha dumb right? telling you this cause I can't say it to anyone else please adria please I am *hiccup* I am begging you leave asachi alone I have loved him from secondary school even before he got arrested and had to drop out even when he left Asia to study when he was realesed. please ... you don't even know him like I do so please let him go."
Adria pondered on this stupidity, to think that Sofia bore so much hate for her when all she shared for her was genuine care and respect!. 'Stupid me.' she thought to herself "I'm not holding onto him Sofie." she said calmly.
"No you are and if you don't let him go, I might be pushed to do things I never meant to so please am speaking from a helpless lady point of view stay away from him, make him feel pain so he'll run to my embrace please."
Adria took a deep breath as an African song played at the background and she looked around the club, immediately her eyes moved to the entrance of the club and there she saw Lee and his soon to be wife walk into the club 'shit' she had forgotten this was his club she immediately turned to the bartender "Two shots please." this was going to be a long night and she needs to be ready for anything or probably she would go home after the two shots. They all got to have some drinks at a club.
