"What happened?" Delta asked the first time when he saw his three friends come with full human bodies.
"We have to save him," Tetra joked. She hastily put the person on the single-bed in the corner of the room.
There were only Delta and Charlie in the lab room. They both approached the bed together and saw the human figure. Charlie's eyebrows dipped sharply when he saw the condition of the person on the bed. Charlie looked at Delta. As if he had just communicated a thought, Delta nodded in understanding.
"But the man is dead," said Delta.
Tetra shook her head. "Don't get me wrong. Even though he looks like a corpse, he is actually still alive. You can feel the pulse –"
Tetra stopped her speech when she noticed something odd. She then traced the body parts of the person. Her index and middle fingers pressed into several parts, trying to find a pulse. Unfortunately, there is nothing to feel.
"H-how is that possible?"
