His face was still close to her after telling her something. He couldn't pull back when he smelled her scent. He was both drawn by her aura and captivated by her scent, he was trying to figure out her smell when she unexpectedly turned to him.
They were both surprised and weren't able to move, staring at each other, as if no one was around. He moved his gaze to her lips. He was still confused why he was acting like she was his mate.
