Luke sat down on the ground. 'Think! Think!'
''M-Maybe, we should really go back...'' Sara suggested.
''If we go back, we die!'' Luke shouted.
Sara flinched, but then said. ''You can't know that!''
''We can't enter the Rift, and if we try to force it, then Emma might be in danger!'' Edward said sharply.
*Sigh*
Luke sighed, he leaned on Aeriel's ear and whispered. ''Please knock them out, I might have a plan.''
Aeriel widened her eyes, some time later she nodded and disappeared from his spot, which caused Edward, Sara, and Emma to widen their eyes.
*Thud* *Thud*
Edward and Sara fell down on the ground unconscious.
...But Aeriel knocked Emma out with a harmless spell and gently put her in the ground.
''What now?'' Aeriel asked with her sweet voice.
Luke sighed and said. ''I think I have a plan - Take the three with you and use the invisibility spell.''
Aeriel shook her head. ''I don't have that kind of spell.''
''But didn't Avery and others use it?''
''It's Avery's special magic, he used it for others as well,'' Aeriel explained.
''Ah...'' Luke exclaimed
''Can you hide near the Rift with your Camouflage Magic?'' Luke asked.
Aeriel nodded. ''I can, but I don't think I can get to Rift without being noticed and I still have to carry these three - They might be in danger.''
Luke nodded. ''I will handle that, I will make big enough of a diversion, and you will run to the Rift as fast as you can.''
''But what about you?!'' Aeriel asked anxiously.
''I will be fine.'' Luke's heart clenched, but he still kept a poker face.
''Nn...'' Aeriel nodded, but still, a worry remained.
''Can you make me a soldier,'' Luke asked.
Aeriel nodded and her hand turned white which covered Luke's body.
Shortly afterward Luke was wearing a soldier's uniform.
''Alright, go to the nearby area of the Rift, and I will enter from the main gate,'' Luke said.
Aeriel nodded and was about to leave.
But then Luke exclaimed. ''Can you make me a Military Pass? I can't probably enter without it.''
''How does it look like?'' Aeriel asked.
Luke kept instructing her, while Aeriel kept making multiple Military Passes but most of them failed until she finally got it right.
''That's it!'' Luke said and took the military pass.
''Good luck...'' Aeriel muttered.
Luke nodded. ''Can you take the suitcases, since you are carrying those three as well?'' He asked and looked at the suitcases on the ground.
Aeriel with a slight smile waved her hand and the suitcases became very small, which can even fit her pocket.
Aeriel took the small suitcases from the ground and put them in her pocket.
''Very convenient.'' Luke nodded, but then his face became conflicted.
He looked with his brown eyes straight towards Aeriel.
''Please be safe...'' Luke muttered quietly, but Aeriel did hear him.
Her heart started beating faster and her face started flush slightly.
Luke then walked out of the forest and started jogging towards the Main Gate.
Aeriel stayed rooted on her spot until she woke up from her stupor and left the forest as well.
Aeriel instead went with an alternate route, even though she was carrying three people, her agility was still far above any human can ever achieve.
Luke went into line and about 10 soldiers were in front of him, waiting to get into the base.
He was slightly worried because he doesn't know will the Military Pass truly work, but desperate measures need desperate solutions.
If it was Luke 3 years ago, then he probably would have left his family alone and run away with Aeriel to the rift.
But that was when Luke went on a very dark path.
And he regrets it greatly.
Even if he needed to drag his family to the Rift so they won't die, he would.
He regretted the way he acted past 3-4 years.
He tried to change, and he has done that.
People say that evil men will always stay evil.
Luke was evil.
But he has tried to change for the better.
He has tried everything in past years to get rid of his family's disdain towards him.
He hasn't properly succeeded in it.
They never truly listen to him.
They still think of him as the same Delinquent, but not as bad as he was back then.
And even Emma...
Luke loves her little sister.
But Luke knows that she fears him.
Which isn't surprising after things he has done.
New World could be a new beginning for them, and he will make sure that they will be there.
The soldier in front of Luke entered through the gate, which means it's Luke's turn.
''Pass.'' The Guard said.
Luke offered his Military Pass and the guard took it and looked closely.
Luke gulped, his throat was getting dry out of nervousness.
He sees the Guard look somewhat strangely at the Military Pass.
Luke's heart rate started increasing.
''Are you new?'' The Guard suddenly asked.
Luke nodded and said with a somewhat shaky tone. ''Y-Yes.''
''Most of the newcomers have been discharged.'' The Guard informed.
Luke started to slightly sweat, but he tried to keep his face normal.
''Go to Captain's Office, you might not have been informed about it - just need to make sure that you are supposed to be here.'' The Guard said and gave the Military Pass back to Luke.
Luke took it and nodded. ''Yes sir.''
He walked through the gates and entered the Military Base.
His heart was beating loudly.
He sighed relief and he knew that if he won't arrive at the Captain's Office soon, they might find him very suspicious.
Luke started to walk around the big Military Base, looking for anything that can be caused as a huge diversion.
Armory is out of the question.
It is always the most guarded area.
He could blow up the Armory which will cause a lot of havoc, but he will never get inside.
He arrived at the Car Hall.
They store the military cars there and fix them and fuel them.
He tried to be discreet and looked around the hall, but only saw few Soldiers fixing one of the cars.
He gritted his teeth, he knows he can't get inside there, he looked around and saw soldiers coming out of one of the buildings.
When the doors were opened he saw a dining hall, which means there must be a kitchen...
'I could cause a fire there which would attract everyone's attention...' Luke thought
Luke started making his way over, trying not to look suspicious.
He arrived at the building and entered.
He saw few soldiers eating currently and the kitchen was mostly filled with cooks.
He turned his head and saw a red button.
It was a fire alarm.
'Hmm...' Luke thought and punched it hard which caused the entire building to start beeping.
He saw the soldiers flinch and started looking around them with slight panic.
Luke quickly opened the door next to him and entered the cleaning closet.
''Damn! Where is the fire!'' Luke heard one of the soldiers yell loudly, next he heard loud footsteps running out of the building.
He waited until all the footsteps disappeared.
He opened the door slightly and saw the entire dining hall and kitchen empty.
He opened the door and ran to the kitchen.
Luke started going through the drawers, trying to find anything useful.
Then he saw... Coconut Oil.
He grabbed it and smirked.
He took three bowls and started to fill them full of coconut oil.
With slight sweat dripping out of his forehead he was done after few minutes.
He could hear loud shouting outside of the building, that's why he was trying to be as fast as possible.
He put the oven to 300 Celsius and put the Bowl on the oven and closed it.
Next, he put one of the bowls on the stove which instantly started making a cracking noise.
Next, he put the bowl on the microwave and put the timer on for 10 minutes.
He did all this because Coconut Oil is the most flammable oil in the world.
It is mostly used in the kitchen, so it was easy to find.
Luke already saw slight fire appearing from the bowls, he exited the Kitchen and ran towards the back door, and exited the building.
He looked around him and without being suspicious he started making his way over to the Car Hall.
He already saw people surrounding the building, and soldiers with Fire extinguishers appearing.
Also, the soldiers from Car Hall were standing in the crowd while looking at the building.
'Now I need to something which causes a fire...' Luke thought.
Luke with a slight smile walked quickly towards the Car Hall and entered it swiftly.
He ran towards the big office and started going through the drawers.
Some of the drawers were locked, but he finally found something useful.
A lighter...
''Yes!'' Luke celebrated and took the lighter and hold it firmly in his hand.
Next, he went to find the gas.
Which was easy to find because it was in a red canister in the Car Hall, left behind by other soldiers.
He looked out of the Car Hall and saw slight smoke coming out of the building and the soldiers with Fire extinguishers entering the building
Luke started throwing the gas towards all the cars and on the ground of the hall.
He quickly emptied 3 gas canisters until he was finally done.
He swiftly walked out of the Car Hall, used the lighter, and threw it to the Car Hall, which instantly caused flames to appear.
''My job here is done.'' Luke then started walking out of the scene of the crime.
He looked behind him and saw that Car Hall was already in flames, soldiers running like headless chickens trying to take the fire out.
Luke smiled and already saw the exit of the Military Base and the closed area of the Rift.
With a small smile, he started walking even faster.
''HALT!'' But then Luke heard a loud voice, he flinched and saw multiple soldiers surrounding him with guns.
'No..,' Luke paled, he was about to turn and start running, but then soldiers appeared behind him as well.
''Well then, who might you be.'' Luke heard a voice, he saw a Middle-Aged man with a buzzcut and muscular body appearing with a stoic look.
Luke trembled.
''My name is Andrew, and I am the Captain of this base - Tell me who you are, and what you are doing here, or I have to get the answers out of you the hard way.'' The stoic-looking man named Andrew said with a serious tone.
Luke clenched his fist. 'Damn!' He looked around the military base, trying to find any place to run, but he was panicking, that's why he didn't see very important point.
He was surrounded by soldiers who were aiming their guns at him!
Andrew saw that Luke wasn't very willing to answer.
He sighed and scratched the back of his head. ''Take him to the interrogation room, I will talk with him soon.''
Soldiers then grabbed Luke and started dragging him towards one of the buildings.
Luke closed his eyes and clenched his fist. 'No...'
