Chapter 34 - Chapter 34: The Struggle for Control

Days passed since Yang Kai's bold confrontation with **Bi Luo**, but the tension between them had only grown. Every time Bi Luo crossed his path, there was a flicker of something beneath her defiance—something Yang Kai could sense but she wasn't ready to admit. The initial anger and hostility she had shown him were still there, but underneath it, Yang Kai could see the conflict in her eyes. She was battling her own nature, and he was patient enough to let her struggle.

Meanwhile, Yang Kai continued to explore **Shen Qing Luo's Spider Kingdom**. The palace was vast, elegant, and filled with servants who moved quietly through the halls. It was a place designed to make those within it feel trapped without walls, a place where Shen Qing Luo's influence extended everywhere. He could feel her eyes on him, even when she wasn't there.

### **Shen Qing Luo's Inner Conflict**

In the privacy of her chambers, **Shen Qing Luo** remained tormented by her internal struggle. The poison technique that had backfired continued to burn within her, urging her to kill Yang Kai to save herself from the backlash. But her heart—the one thing she had never allowed to be vulnerable—now wavered every time she thought of him.

Each day that passed, her feelings for Yang Kai grew stronger. The man who had resisted her charms and her poison had somehow won a part of her heart. It was infuriating, and yet, she couldn't deny it. She knew that if she didn't kill him, the technique would eventually destroy her—but the thought of ending his life now seemed impossible.

Sitting alone in her chambers, Shen Qing Luo pressed her hands to her temples. Her thoughts were a tangled web, much like the webs she spun to control others.

"Why can't I do it?" she whispered to herself, her voice trembling. "I could end this now... but I won't."

Her heart ached with the weight of her decision, and the more time she spent trying to resolve her feelings, the more conflicted she became.

### **Bi Luo's Weakness**

Bi Luo, too, was struggling. Her loyalty to Shen Qing Luo remained as strong as ever, but her interactions with Yang Kai had stirred something within her that she couldn't ignore. Every time she was near him, her pulse quickened, and her mind was filled with conflicting thoughts. She hated him for what he had done—for the way he had exposed her deepest, darkest desires—but she couldn't stop thinking about it.

Alone in her chambers, Bi Luo often found herself replaying the encounter in her mind. The way Yang Kai had grabbed her wrist, the way his voice had lowered when he spoke to her, the way he had seen through her defenses. She hated that she had enjoyed it, but at the same time, she couldn't deny the thrill it had given her.

Bi Luo's loyalty to her mistress was absolute, but now, she found herself thinking more and more about Yang Kai. Part of her wanted to punish him for daring to touch her like that. Another part of her... wanted him to do it again.

### **Bi Luo's Struggle**

Bi Luo couldn't stay away from Yang Kai. Every time she tried to avoid him, she found herself seeking him out, watching him from a distance, waiting for the moment when he would challenge her again. The desire to resist him warred with the strange, submissive part of her that longed for his attention.

Eventually, she could take it no longer. She confronted him once more, this time with a mixture of anger and desperation.

"Why do you think you can do whatever you want?" Bi Luo hissed, cornering Yang Kai as he stood in one of the palace courtyards. "You think just because Mistress is conflicted, you can do as you please?"

Yang Kai glanced at her calmly, his expression unreadable. He had been expecting this.

"I'm not doing as I please," he replied coolly. "I'm doing what's necessary."

Bi Luo's hands clenched into fists. "Necessary? You think manipulating Mistress is necessary? She's the one in control, not you!"

Yang Kai's gaze shifted, his eyes narrowing as he stepped toward her. "Is she in control, Bi Luo? Or are you the one losing control?"

Bi Luo's heart skipped a beat, and she backed away, but not far enough to escape his presence. Her mind screamed at her to fight, to push him away, but something inside her kept her rooted to the spot.

"Stay away from me," she warned, her voice shaky.

Yang Kai took another step forward, his eyes locking onto hers. "You don't want that."

Bi Luo's breath hitched, and her body betrayed her again, her pulse quickening as he closed the distance between them. She hated herself for it, but deep down, she couldn't deny the way her body reacted to his proximity.

"Stop," she whispered, her voice barely audible.

Yang Kai reached out, his hand grazing her cheek gently. Bi Luo froze, her body trembling with a mix of fear and desire. She wanted to push him away, but at the same time, she longed for more.

"You want to be punished, don't you?" Yang Kai's voice was low, smooth. "You've fantasized about it for so long, haven't you? You want to submit."

Bi Luo's eyes widened, her heart pounding in her chest. How did he know? How could he see through her so easily?

"I don't—" she began, but her voice faltered as Yang Kai's fingers trailed down her neck, sending shivers through her body.

"You can't hide it from me, Bi Luo," he whispered. "I know what you want."

Bi Luo's breathing grew shallow as Yang Kai's touch ignited something deep within her. She tried to deny it, tried to fight it, but the walls she had built around herself were crumbling. Her body leaned into his touch, betraying the desire she had tried so hard to suppress.

---

### **The Submission**

Bi Luo's resistance melted away as Yang Kai pulled her closer, his grip firm but not painful. She felt the power in his touch, the control he exerted over her, and for the first time, she didn't want to fight it. Her body yearned for the punishment he had promised, for the release of the control she had held onto for so long.

Yang Kai, seeing the conflict in her eyes give way to submission, leaned in closer, his lips brushing against her ear. "You will serve me now, Bi Luo," he said softly. "And through you, I will get what I want."

Bi Luo's heart raced, and though her mind screamed at her to refuse, her body had already surrendered. She nodded slowly, her breath coming in shallow gasps as she accepted her new role.

"I... I will serve you," she whispered, her voice trembling.

Yang Kai smirked, his grip on her tightening. "Good."

He released her, stepping back as she stood there, her body trembling from the intensity of the encounter. Bi Luo looked up at him, her face flushed, her breathing still uneven.

"From now on, you will do as I say," Yang Kai continued, his tone commanding. "You will help me get closer to Shen Qing Luo."

Bi Luo nodded again, unable to look him in the eyes. She had lost the battle, but deep down, part of her felt a strange sense of relief. She had always been loyal to Shen Qing Luo, but now, she found herself bound to Yang Kai in a way she hadn't expected.

"I understand," Bi Luo said quietly, her voice barely a whisper.

Yang Kai gave her a satisfied nod. He had broken through her defenses, and now, she would be a useful tool in his efforts to bring Shen Qing Luo into his harem. Bi Luo's submissive nature had made her vulnerable, and Yang Kai had taken full advantage of it.
