Chapter Seventy-nine
The frenzy
Wei Ho knew that his resistance to bullets was simply because of ancient herbs he regularly used as rubs or consumed. He had discovered these herbs in peculiar books in a cave when he was nine years, even though their contents seemed unbelievable. Wei Ho had mistakenly concluded that he got selected, and since then, he had prepared himself to induct as either a wolf or a hunter. A sly smile formed on his face as he pondered, 'Perhaps I can track her down.' With a subtle smirk, he added, 'And perhaps I can take advantage of the opportunity.'
Kang, Wei Ho's subordinate, understood not to disturb him during his silent contemplation and patiently awaited his instructions.
