So, he walked with heavy feet towards the door.

He retracted his sour looked in the direction of Yan Rumei. He showed her a big smile and said, "Good morning Meimei, I brought you lunch. Let's have lunch together."
"Doctor Tan, I also brought you something to eat. Thank you for your continuous guidance." Duan Heng didn't forget to bring some bribes to their mediator.
He thought that if it wasn't for Tan Jiaying, Yan Rumei might've been scared silly and might even refuse to meet him ever again.
When he thought of the examples the doctor has told him, he realized that what he did was really creepy.
The doctor said to put himself in Yan Rumei's shoes.
If there was a girl who suddenly showed up, saying that she wanted to marry him, but he has no recollection of her, and she keeps on insisting, then he would throw her out and would even bar her from coming close ever again. In fact, he might even have her thrown in a faraway city and make sure she will never have the means to come back again.

"Seaweed soup, stir-fried eggplant, salmon with mushroom sauce, braised beef, tiramisu, and green tea."
Yan Rumei pursed her lips when she heard the last item.
"Hnm? What's wrong? Was there something you don't like? I'll take it away immediately.", he worriedly asked.
"Ah…" She hesitated but gave up in the end. She was really craving for something else.
"I'm… not really a fan of tea. I usually just drink coffee."
Duan Heng straightened himself up, "Okay, I'll buy one for you. Do you prefer something specific or just black coffee? There's a Starry Night across the hospital left-wing."
Before Yan Rumei can answer him, Tan Jiaying interjected. "Aiyah! Mr. Duan, you shouldn't go. Just let Assistant Li or Bodyguard Bo handle that. You are the one who brought food to eat, it's not good if you leave. We will have to wait for you before we can eat. Rumei is already hungry."
At the same time, she stared at Assistant Li and Bodyguard Bo to signal then to make the move.
Of course, Bodyguard Bo didn't budge at all. He had no plans to leave this place as long as this guy is still here.
Therefore, it was Assistant Li who ended up being the lackey.
