After the funeral, Luna and Wilmore got a chance to be alone. He was in Luna's chamber in the small mansion, near the window, he looked at the courtyard where he used to come and welcome Lady Narayan. The woman wasn't here anymore, her smiles used to bring comfort to him, she used to be the warm arms that he could trust as his mother.
The maidens prepared them warm water to wash up. Kate pointed to them and dismissed all of the maidens and let the couple be alone.
Luna approached him, putting the shirt in her hand down on the table. She hugged him from behind, made the man turn back, and held her hands, leaving kisses on her soft hands.
"Did you miss her?"
Wilmore gazed onto her face and brushed a lock of her hair back behind her ear.
"I did, but I am glad that you are fine!" His eyes traveled down on her belly.
Luna grasped what he wanted to do but it seemed he found her so fragile to be touched by him again.
