Vanessa was in her chamber when Maxwell knocked on the door.
"Go away, I don't care who you are."
"It is me, sister, I came back from war."
Vanessa jumped on her feet, he was in Moon Lake, pushing the raiders back.
Opening the door, she hugged her brother.
"You are alive, you cannot imagine how happy I am."
Maxwell nodded, he had not brought good news for her.
"I am fine, how are you?" He released her and walked inside her chamber.
His eyes shifted on the tore dresses.
"What are these?"
"The princess gifts."
Maxwell raised his brows and waited for her to explain.
"I just didn't want to keep them!"
"You could give them to poor people!"
Vanessa peered at her brother, exacting on his expression, "since when do you care about poor people?"
"I don't, I mean you should not waste them."
"Fine, enough! I am glad you are returned but I want to be alone."
