"Pups, yes", gnawing on the bottom lip, the werewolf answered, pausing for a brief moment.
"But Úna is only alpha's Luna, not his mate", he added further, his tongue poking the inner wall of his cheek.
"You just said Luna is a mated werewolf of the alpha", confusion drew the professor's brows into a bunch.
"She doesn't always have to be mated. The alpha hasn't mated her because his inner doesn't accept her and react around her", shifting his weight from one leg to the other, the boy thought for a brief moment about how to explain it to the girl who looked out of their world upon listening to the basics of werewolves.
"There is always a Luna who helps the alpha of the pack with other different things too. She looks out for the pack and the survival of the members alongside the alpha. Our alpha has never felt anything around any girl of our pack. So we chose a Luna that would help him but she would only stay as a Luna, not his mate."
