It's been two days since the incident and Mia and Ariel are talking again.
''Luna it's almost time'' Mia said . ''Almost time for what ?'' I asked. ''It's almost time to go to the therapist and this time you're not backing out'' she replied sternly. ''Mia for the last time I don't need to see a therapist 'cause I'm fine. No need to worry about me.'' I said calmly.
''Luna yesterday you got fired from your job 'cause you could not control your anger. So I will drive you there myself to ensure that you go through with it. And besides this therapist already knows that you are Twisted Bliss and she's also a family friend .So it's gonna be fine.'' Mia said looking at me with puppy dog eyes.
Yesterday I got fired for beating up a co-worker and it was worth it 'cause the dude was talking about how Asian people should be working at Chinese restaurants instead of high tech labs like the institution I was working at because he said and I quote 'that we were a clumsy race' just because Lia, one of my colleagues who was Asian spilled some chemical on his coat. I still can't believe that I was the one who got fired. So now a family friend of ours offered me some therapy to help deal with my anger issues and my darling sister Mia and my best friend in the whole wide world Ariel gladly accepted the offer even though I refused.
A few minutes later we reached the therapist's office and Mia pulled me back to reality.
''Just remember that a therapist's office is a place were one can share their problems and not be judged'' she said nervously. She sounded like a mom who was bringing her kid to school for the first time. ''Also if you don't go through with this I will know 'cause I put a tracker on you while you were asleep and also I will call Doctor Ryan to check in on you.''.
''So why did you beat him up?'' Doctor Ryan asked.
'''Cause I was angry and upset and also can we sit here in silence for the next hour 'cause that's all you're gonna get outa me'' I answered rudely. I didn't wanna be here.
''Luna Zài zhège fángjiān wàimiàn nǐ kěyǐ zuò rènhé nǐ xiǎng zuò de shì. Nǐ kěyǐ zūnxún nǐ zìjǐ de guīzé, dàn zài zhèlǐ nǐ zūnxún wǒ de guīzé. Xiànzài qīngsù nǐ de xīn, fǒuzé wǒmen bù huì líkāi zhège fángjiān (Luna outside of this room you can do whatever you want to do. You can follow your own rules but in here you follow my rules. Now pour your heart out or we are not going to leave this room.)'' she said strictly.
''Ok fine I was just so sick of it .It's like everyday I go into the office ,I do my part and it's just not enough for my co-workers. I mean I am the person who created and fixed most of the technology there and they still called me lazy and stupid and I just bottled up all that anger until I just had enough. I was now just tired of the disrespect. This is the reason I created Twisted Bliss ,I was tired of being stepped on, I was tired of the people who didn't stand up for me when I needed help. I wanted to show people how dangerous a woman is when she is angry.'' I finally spoke.
''You know you are so right'' Ryan spoke ''Before I met your mother I was so lost and angry and I created an alter ego who had no care in the world and I called her Iron Red''.
My jaw dropped, I was a huge fan of Iron Red. She was a notorious criminal who was feared by everyone (except for me). The police couldn't catch her and she was unstoppable up until a bomb blast killed her in 2002.
''Wait so you were Iron Red, I always knew in my heart that somehow you survived that blast. I have so many questions like why did you give up the red mask'' I said with wonder in my eyes.
''I gave up Iron red for a reason. I gave her up because her mission was complete and also because she held too much power .The reason I created her was because I wanted to be seen and heard and also because I was now tired of helping people who didn't even try to help me in return when I was in need.'' she said.
Finally there was someone who actually understood how I felt. There was finally that one person who didn't wanna lose control.
