The storms lasted longer than the first one we witnessed. However, it cleared faster. Within a day, we were back on our journey. The whispers Little Alzar raved about became clearer. Fragments of statement danced in the air. With the wind, it was like a sweet tune. The mist said love, new, and mating more frequently than any other words. Though it was not obtrusive, it was hard for me to concentrate on anything else other than the whispers. It was like she murmured against my ears. I wanted to know what she meant even when I didn't want to know. Everything was chaotic.
"Are you okay?" Kane asked me for the fifth time since we started walking.
I shook my head. "Yeah, I am fine."
I would be okay. I needed to get used to the whispers. Once that was done everything would return to normal.
Kane observed me before, "Okay, if you say so. Let me know if you feel any different."
"Yeah."
