The barrier spell was powerful. It was a dark spell my mother taught me. Regardless, Sabastian was a more powerful species. If he wanted, he could break the spell with ease. Angel was a guardian, and he broke her barrier spell without a hitch. He could have broken it down and come inside my tent. The old Sabastian would have done that. This one in front of me looked scarier than ever. The worst part of all was his appearance compelled me to let down the ward. As scary as the Alpha was, I wanted him in here.
