Unbelievable!
Little Alzar had knapsacks that held other dimensions inside them. I had to take one of them. We packed it with food, vegetables, herbs and spices, water, snacks, toys for Little Alzar, and two of the books. Everything I could find.
I wrote a letter to the boys and pasted it on the counter in the kitchen. Maybe they would come back to check on the Alzars. I wouldn't want them to worry too much.
I left back a few things and tidied up before we were ready. After all, this was our plan B. We wanted it to remain beautiful.
"Are you ready?" Sabastian grimaced. "We are waiting for you. You made even the kid get ready before you."
The kid got ready before me because he didn't have much to do. He knew where everything was, so he stocked his bag long before me. He emptied half of the fridge in his bag and filled it with snacks. I had to be the adult even for the other adults.
I sighed and followed him out.
