"Remember to cast the spell," Kane reminded me after dinner. "No matter what, don't come outdoors."
I nodded.
He kept reminding me of the same things since the night began: Don't go outside the barrier; don't let any of the animals in my tent; ensure to cast a shield once I enter my tent; don't come outside unless I am fully dressed; let him know whenever I feel the slightest difference in my body; don't go near Sabastian during the night. List upon list of rules. He was starting to scare me. The fact he refused to share much information with me irritated me even more. I did not like games and refused to be treated like a child. I spent my entire life following rules and being led by someone else. It could not happen here.
Kane frowned at Sabastian. "It's time for you to change back."
The wolf turned his face away.
