We stopped by two more fruit trees before we got to the river. I had not even known there were so many types of Apples. I could not get enough of the otaheite apples. They were sweeter with far more juice than the other apples. We even found berries. It was a pity we could not get a sucker or root to plant these trees elsewhere. I would not mind having a fruit tree that produced all its types in my backyard. Miranna, my father's mate, would have approved.
The baby animal tailed Sabastian everywhere we went. Kane was not too pleased but allowed it. At the riverbank more animals than we thought loitered by.
Most of the animals were drinking, hunting for fish, taking a bath, or just chilling. Without knowing, we actually brought the little guy back to his parents. Instead of being hostile, the animals just peered at us and then went back to doing whatever they were doing.
