"Didn't you want to talk to your family?" I asked Sabastian.
He pulled on the t-shirt. His muscles pressed to the claw prints on the side of the shirt. "Why would I want to talk with them? They were brought here to witness the wedding. Once that is over, they will be taken to wherever they are coming from. What's the point of talking to them?"

"They are your parents," I insisted. "Don't you want to at least say hi?"
He arched a brow at me. "What for?"
Caroline was passionate about her sons. A protective mother. No one would blame her for the experience she went through while being pregnant with them. They were her lifeline. She did not hesitate to show the world. She never liked the idea of any of her sons dating me. I was a bit surprised to see her there. Maybe that was why Sabastian did not want to speak with her. Her opinions of the wedding and his choice of mate would not be in his favor.
