Kakashi opens the door and walks inside with me still on his back. I'm a little shy so I make myself small and try to hide behind Kakashi's hair.
"Hello Kakashi I see you're back from you mission. You're quite late did you run in some kind of trouble?" Now I feel bad I don't want Kakashi to get in trouble because of me. "Yo the mission was completed without any trouble but on my way back I met someone interesting." "Oh and who would that someone be?" I can hear his amusement inside his voice and decide to come out of my little cover behind Kakashi's hair.
"The That would be me" I say in a quite voice but I knew they can hear me. The Hokage looks quite surprised but then he smiles warmly. "Well who might you be little girl?" he kindly asked. "Eh I'm Ari nice to meet ya" I say with sparkling eyes. "No last name?" "EH ah no I hm an orphan and live in the forest " I answer quietly and unsure. I mean here my last name is not important and I'm really an orphan soo I didn't lie to them.
" Oh I'm sad to hear that my child. How about you live here from now on and become a ninja" "WHA REALLY, that would be awesome gramps . . . eh I mean Hokage-Sama." I'm so excited so happy I get to stay but I'm hiding behind Kakashi again because I'm embarrassed from my outburst. "Haha its alright my child you can call me gramps whenever you want no need to be embarrassed" he says with amusement I can even feel Kakashi's silent laughing.
"So about the living arrangement I would put you together with a Jonin till you graduated from school, then you can decide if you want to live in your own apartment." "That's great gramps but I don't want to be trouble for them." I answer because I really don't want to burden others with my presence. "Ha don't worry about that my child I already sent a message to the Jonins they should be here soon." Heh when did that happen? Was he already planning something like this, strange.
"knock, knock"
"It's us Hokage-sama you called us here." "Yes come inside I already expected you to be here soon" The door opens and four people stepped inside. Quickly I hide behind Kakashi's hair again. I'm to shy for this (-_-). "Asuma, Kurenai, Genma and Shikaku I called you here for one special reason. I want this child to live with one of my Jonins here. She's an orphan and lived in the forest before. I want someone from you to take care of her." "Where is she Hokage-sama?" a female voice asked it must be Kurenai. "She's here" and with that Kakashi moves his head aside so everyone can see me. I'm silently crying inside ... Kakashi you traitor. Oh well looks like I have to introduce myself now "Hi I'm Ari nice to meet ya" I say with a wave.
"Aww so cute, its nice to meet you too. I'm Kurenai Yuuhi." "Yo I'm Genma Shiranui kid" "And i'm Asuma Sarutobi." hes says while smoking a cigarette. It runs in the family so it seems. "Troublesome I'm Shikaku head of the Nara-Clan. Its nice to meet you too. You look like a bright kid" "Well now that everybody introduced them I want you to choose between one of them" gramps said. Mhh a hard choice I would like to spend some time with all of them. But I know who I want to stay with so just to make sure I ask "I can choose between one of the Jonins here, right?" "Yes child"
"Then I want to stay with Kakashi" I answered with a bright smile. I can literately see flowers blooming in the background. Well that's new but cool non the less. The others look really surprised and Kakashi takes me of his back only to hold me in front of him. "Are you really sure? You can stay with any of them you don't have to stay with me" Kakashi seems really surprised. "Um yeah I'm sure I want to stay with you from now on, eh but I don't want to bother you. If it troubles you I can choose someone else." I don't want to burden him even when I really want to stay with him. I mean he needs somebody again I don't want him to suffer alone anymore.
"Ah no no its alright I'm just surprised you chose me when you could stay with everyone in this room." He gives me a smile, he looks happy. "Then its decided then I want you to take good care of her understand Kakashi." "Yes crystal clear Hokage-Sama" "Aww man I wanted to take care of her Kakashi you mean bastard." Kurenai whined. "Bastard?" I ask and tilt my head to the side. Everyone freezes and its completely silent now. "uh you heard nothing kid I said nothing like that eh I you just misheard I ah eh" Kurenai begins sweating and tries to explain herself its kinda funny as the others look at her with a death glare. Gramps is just watching us and shakes his head at them but I know he's just amused as I am. Between there quarrel Kakashi gently drops me on my feet.
"Hey there little feather I see you made quite the disturbance here." That's Hiro he's here. Looks like he came through the opened window.
"Ah Hiro I see you're back let me see the message." gramps ordered and Hiro gives him the scroll. But there is something else in Hiros beak. It's my scarf the Wind must have given it to him. "Oh what's this a scarf let me see" gramps said but Hiro was faster and headed towards me. "Hiro you got my scarf back thank you." Hiro lands on my shoulder and gives me the scarf he's quite heavy but its alright and I give him some pats as a thanks.
"Oh Ari you know him?" "Yes gramps I met him on the way here." "I see that explains a lot. Kakashi I think its time to go now its quite late now and you still have to take Ari with you. Tomorrow you can take her to the academy I will inform the teachers." "Yes Hokage-Sama" Hiro flies back to his spot and Kakashi carries me. Before we can leave I wave to the others and say bye to them over Kakashi's shoulders.
