Jim stared at Brandon with furious eyes. Isaac gave him the power to get revenge. Instead, Brandon abused this power. He even killed his own daughter. Jim looked at the poor girl and kneeled in front of her.
Seeing this, Brandon trembled. He began pleading for his life.
"I am sorry! Please, I was not thinking straight!" Brandon begged.
Jim put his hand on a poor girl's head, and golden aura began healing her. Her cut up stomach closed up.
"Are you okay?" Jim asked with a smile.
The girl began crying and suddenly hugged him. Jim was even more furious.
"She went and hugged a complete stranger. That's how traumatized she is." Jim looked at her and hugged her back.
"Is this what you wanted? You wanted to kill your own innocent daughter?" Jim said while staring into Brandon's eyes.
Jim stood up and was thinking about what he should do. He was questioning himself if he did the right thing.
"Why… did I save her?" neither Isaac nor Jim had any connections with the girl, but Jim's humanity hadn't left him yet. And Isaac's hatred for betrayal was now focused on Brandon. This person is the enemy.
"Close your eyes and block your ears little girl," Jim smiled.
She quietly cried, but did as he told her. She closed his eyes and blocked her ears.
"No, Lillith, don't!" Brandon shouted. He knew Isaac, or so-called Jim, didn't want to kill him in the presence of his daughter. So if she continues watching, he has a chance of survival! "Please, I beg you… Open your eyes!"
Right after he finished the sentence, his body become numb. This was a high-class necromancy spell. He began rotting. One could barely see his body as a human. No. He resembled zombie. However, he was still a human, in unimaginable pain. Soon, his heart couldn't hold the pain, and he died.
"Open your eyes? What a weird choice of last words." Jim spat as he said those words.
"..."
The girl stayed quietly. Jim left. He left the house. And the girl, still stood with closed eyes and blocked ears.
After leaving the house, he kept checking back. He felt like the girl will follow him. And he wanted to make sure it will not happen. But she didn't. She obediently stayed.
Jim smiled and kept walking.
"Why am… I even walking?" Jim questioned himself.
He stopped and stared at the house. "What will happen to her now?"
The god felt regret. He returned to Brandon's house.
"It will be fine… If i erase her memories… Right?" Jim kept questioning himself. He returned to the house and yet again saw that tiny little creature. She cried, but obediently stayed with her eyes closed.
Shivers went down Jim's spine as he realized "The girl… was afraid that if she will not listen to me… I will kill her… Just like her father!"
He heard quiet sobs, and he leaned to the wall. "This is all my fault, first revived people… Were good. But… For the last one, i was so focused on becoming the devil… I didn't even check if the person was malicious."
He went to the little girl and took her little hands. "Do you… Wish to forget what you saw today? Do you want me to revive your family?" then he thought to himself, of course she wants it. What a stupid question! I should have done that from the very beginning!
Her little body trembled, but she shook her head and she screamed, "NO! Both mommy and daddy were bad people. I am glad they're gone!"
"Then what the hell should i do with you?!?" Jim thought to himself and remembered. "I am sorry, Elisabeth. I suppose, our little world… Will get a new guest"
"Can… You… Stay… With… Me? I'll be good, I promise! I can do my laundry and… and..." she began to tear up again.
"So… Cute!" Jim thought to himself.
"Close your eyes. And wait here till I come back." Jim ordered her. "When i return, you will be my daughter."
She did as she was told, however; she thought Jim told her to do this, so he could leave her. Again, she sobbed quietly.
*Isaac/Jim's realm*
Jim recreated his old world. Everything like it was before Elisabeth's death. It was once again full of life. It still hurt his heart, but this time he had no choice. He now has a daughter to take care of.
Soon he went back and took her. "Open your eyes, Lilith!"
Her little mind was blown. She was in fantasy land, full of beautiful flowers. When she first opened her eyes, she saw a pair of unicorns running into the forest. When she looked up, she saw a dragon flying and two beautiful color moons!" "So beautiful!"
Jim patted her head and smiled. Lilith's smile reminded him of Elisabeth when she first saw his world's remake. "Indeed, it's really beautiful."
