The feeling of helplessness finally dwelled on Selena when she watches the look on everyone face who came to see her off, as crowd gathered to greet her farewell even though some of them only came to feed their eyes, the king's bastard daughter is finally being useful to her clans, just eighteen years old and she was being sent to her doom, their army in tow marching while she walked gracefully in the middle, this time she was dolled up, to show the wolves that the witches were more elegant that them, the perfume she wore actually choking Serena herself, the gown looking so heavy like what did those tailors put in there, the gown was a blue dress with a vee cut neck while her necklace sat just between her breast, right behind her was her childhood friend Laura and her hand maiden cloe while a guard gifted to her by the king ,chad who would probably be around the age twenty stood at the front, finally they arrived at the fence, oh the fence was more than she had imagined, it was so tall that one might think it had no end, the tall trees looking so small in comparison to it,

Serena received a pat from Laura, which diverted Serena eye to where a group of soldiers both men and women stood not more than nine of them there hands behind them, warriors one could detect, they all dressed the same, blacktop and boots in green trousers which were tuck inside the boots, looking ready to attack but also looked like they were observing the scene unlike them, Serena noticed the wolves carried no weapons,
Those who followed behind Selena whispering among themselves while the witches and wizards looked like they were ready to start casting spells of fires and the likes, after what seems like hours of trying to see who will be attacking Serena knew if she did not move along this could be the chance for both to start bloodshed,
"Princess , it is time we move",
Chad stays giving Serena the bravery to walk passed the fence, along side Laura , cloe and chad following along
Walking through the fence to the another side , Serena could see the wolves looking at her like nothing special no courtesy or anything, the only thing that left the female mouth of a wolf was
"MOVE"
She says directing them to where three jeeps were parked ushering Serena and chad to one and the other, Laura and cloe sat in, soon after they drove off through the bushes till they got to the city Serena assumed,suddenly they saw a new word entirely, it was different from the one Serena was used too, she expected to see a ruined city but she saw the opposite, they were schools, hospitals , houses beautiful houses, guessing they has almost arrived at their destination, for they entered a new city entirely, she could see a group of children on the training ground training as their trainer adjusted some of their postures, finally the jeep stopped ,beside them she could see that the jeep that brought Laura and cloe had already arrived seconds before theirs, on sighting Serena ,cloe and Laura walked over to were their princess was while one of the wolf barked an order to another then walked ahead of them, their guess was probably leading them to the wolf king
"Princess do you think we are safe?",
"Cloe, we have to look strong , they do not need to see how scared we are"
Serena whispered back to them , seeming composed but all she could hear her mind scream was
"run, run, run "
"What if we get killed , I still have not practised my level four spell yet"
Laura put in
"Shhhh, Laura , cloe no one is going to die, I will make sure of it, we must survive "
The words barely left their mouth when a Jeep drove past them in speed, taking the dust along with it, if they were at wizel town Serena would have shouted over fool after the reckless driver but this time she held her tongue, chad quickly stood in front of Serena to protect her ready for attack,
The driver side of the car opened , and the driver coming out to bark an order to the three wolves who came over standing beside him,speaking to them in an authoritative voice, this maked Serena's heart skip a beat , with just the voice of this stranger she felt something weird, unable to describe it, soon after those he called over left ,then he walked pass them not in the majestic way her brother kal does but took long strong strides, the stranger looking like he was in a hurry , for some reason after taking about five steps passing them, he sudden stopped, turning around like he was searching for something then he suddenly turned to their direction, his beautiful eyes landing on her's and at that moment it felt like everything stopped, time itself stopped,nothing except the two of them, Serena eyes met the most beautiful face she had ever come across, he had the most beautiful eyes she had ever met, even when his frown deepened his face still looked like a work of art, in just that brief seconds their eyes met she noticed all his features, his hair was packed in the back , he was putting on a round neck plain white top which was tucked in the faded blue jeans trouser he wore with boots, in his right arm just where his short sleeve ended Serena noticed he had tattoos which continued behind the sleeve, above six feet, not too huge but had muscles to show that he really does keep fit ,this beautiful stranger looked like he was in his early twenties, her guess not more than twenty two
"Your highness" ,
Someone called after the stranger whispering to him that was when she noticed that he was with someone all along, then the two strangers walked off and that was when she actually recalled what the handsome stranger was addressed as
"YOUR HIGHNESS !!!??"
Serena's mind screamed she had just come across THE MONSTER himself , the one who determined if they lived or die
