Hello, dear readers.
Unfortunately, I come with bad news.
A big storm hit the area where I live and destroyed more than half of the power lines in a 70-kilometer radius, in addition to tearing off several roofs of houses and old trees, so I am currently without electricity and Internet.
This greatly hinders my writing process because, although I can still write from my cell phone and have brief moments of Internet connection thanks to my cell phone's mobile data, my cell phone battery limits me quite a bit, and then I would not be able to do all the editing and quality control that I normally do with each chapter. So I would not be able to maintain the quality of the chapters, and, taking into account the situation, I decided that the best thing would be for this novel to go on hiatus until I can write again in the minimum conditions necessary to be able to continue developing the story to the level of quality that I want it to have.
I don't know how long I will be without electricity, but the workers of the electricity company told me that it is foreseeable that they will need at least 20 days to restore the power in the place where I live.
I will try to find a solution that will allow me to publish chapters again before that time, but I can't promise anything.
Sorry for this forced and unannounced break in the weekly publication of the novel, but this is something that is completely out of my control.
Without further ado, I bid you farewell.
But before I finish, I want to wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
