My senses began to narrow to a girl around the age of 5 dressed in gray rags. She had long dirty blonde hair with bright green eyes. Her eyes were different from the rest they contained life, no they contained rebellion. As I focused on her I began to see different colored gases try to enter her body but every time they tried to invade they bounced right back off her body. Red, blue, green, and white streams of colors swirled around her body but nothing could enter.

The colored streams are most likely elemental mana in its visible form. Why am I the only one who can see it? I look over to my father but he still has a bored expression on his face then I look to the crowd to see the same lust driven faces. It must have something to do with my high elemental affinity or my spiritual root.
I was about to start theorizing about why I could see mana but when I looked up I saw the bidding had started for the strange girl. I saw lust in the eyes of many old men as they rubbed their callused hands together hoping to spend their hard earned money on something nice. Once I uttered the sentence my eyes connected to my father's and for a split second I felt as if I was up against a beast like no other. In no time during my previous life had I ever felt such pressure.

My father's words seemed more like a command but I remained firm as I stayed in my seat while my father began to walk to the door. He turned around to me and the pressure began to increase within the room.

My father finally won the girl and many began to scrutinize why a person in a booth would be interested in a commoner. My father looked at me still with disappointment in his face then he got up and left the room.
