Chapter 1 - Prologue

In a dark space outside the known universe lies a place where memories of the past, present, and future gather. This plane acts as the eternal prison of the universe's greatest offender. Ara, daughter of the Grand Concept Nyndreod and progenitor of the most ancient and powerful bloodline. In this plane condemned to eternal solitude, she once again welcomes a visitor, a son she thought lost by her hand. Everything in this plane echoed and every echo made a memory that Ara relived within seconds. But among these echos, some resounded more loudly than others, the absence of memories made for a unique melody. The silence around her made clear the arrival of the only visitor she could receive.

"Empyrean my son? You are here? Are you not?" Ara spoke her every word a question of what was real and present, false and past.

[Long Dead shall I share the memory] (AN; The [] will indicate a different type of communication.)

Not a voice but something more like an intent swept past Ara carrying a meaning she translated as such. Knowing the person this type of communication originated from it was not only likely that it was translated correctly but also that it would soon be accompanied by more. As she thought she was soon swarmed by the memories that had been silenced by that person's arrival.

[Desist]

Silence once again reigned, however, different from the intent shared before it came from Ara and brought about stillness in the entire plane.

"This is my home, my prison, and yes I have abandoned you to a better life... What I hoped would be a better life, I am to blame for the suffering you have endured in those early years and I have relived that moment more than enough without you forcing it upon me. You are my son and though I have earned your scorn and hatred, you will still respect me in the least as a living being. Now I have called you here to both share with you news I have gathered from memories here and to make a request of you. Will you heed my words or leave?"

Ara stood upright and still even with the chains that pierced, bound, and restricted her to this place rapidly vibrating causing pain that likely no other being could endure. This was no longer the weak woman whose every word was a question, who appeared as broken at her very core. Standing serenely amidst unimaginable pain exuding an unmatched dignity and regalness. This was the Eternal Empress of the First Empire who imprisoned the Grand Concepts and sat upon the Sky Throne, a being that would be viewed as the god of gods. The serenity and peacefulness she brought about even in this lifeless expanse was a reminder that she was the very Embodiment of Life. A reminder he took seriously once it was presented.

"I no longer have things such as a name, none that I would acknowledge. I will not be claimed by this universe or any other. Aside from this share what you must and make your request," the man spoke gruffly.

[Proceed, Evolve]

At the twitch of a finger the memories which were frozen and silenced by Ara begun to move again and this time they became humanoid white figures and took on the vague features of their origins. She had made them into fully living lifeforms. While not truly moved by this scene, the display of power garnered some interest from the man.

"My son as I have said I did fail you. I tossed you into the rift between planes in hopes you would meet your father, I was always certain you would not die but you have suffered a much worse fate than death. However, I have learned and regretted that mistake every second of my days here. What I have done at that time is the memory I relive the most after the memories you had shared with me years later. But not everyone is like me as you well know. I indeed have power enough to contend with beings like my father. But there are beings beyond him that even he could not glimpse let alone touch. Seated on Empreyan... the throne your namesake I learned of those beings and here in this place I have monitored the most active among them," the plane shook and the memory beings quivered in place. Although Ara is known as the Embodiment of Life her powers are not only benevolent, dominion over life also gave her rule over death, she can both give and take as she pleases. The anger she expressed when mentioning that giving birth to the most primordial of fears in every living being in range.

[Decay]

The man simply thought of this and immediately the powers of Ara were suppressed. Although only momentarily.

"So this Supreme being above your father, you have monitored it. If this is all you wish to share let me hear your request, quickly."

"That...being... has moved against my blood, decesendants of both my own and my brother's bloodline. A pair of twins of that would have been born of both our independent bloodlines were to be born on the Omega planet Earth, your fathers homeworld. Imagine it born with both the abilities of life and death they would have been beautiful those girls. However, that being has abritraily meddled and caused the presumed death of the twins in utero. Though from the memories gathered here I know one lives as intended though born from another mother. The other lives much like you she is neither living nor dead, born or unborn. My request for you is to watch over those girls ensure they grow up, one of them will free me from this prison and I shall personally attend to the one who threatens my blood," Ara finished with a hint of madness in her eyes.

The man of no name or titles is no stranger to the many secrets of the multiverse let alone a singular universe. Yet news of a Supreme Being two steps above his own mother was a secret unknown even to him, whose simple thought could rend and shred universes to less than even elementary particles.

Although interested there was a certain fact that his mother had forgotten in her anger and madness, he could not freely enter any universe there was always a price for him and even if it could be paid he simply wasn't welcome.

"I refuse. Ara you have forgotten that I-"

"Ara! Have you truly gone insane during your time in isolation here, I would never allow that thing in MY universe!" A shrill roar echoed through the plane followed by a humanoid figure made of galaxies, stars. Two eyes that stood out like supernovas stared harshly at the indistinct figure of the man, though remained a distance away. This was the Universe Persona, an embodiment of the universe. This one in particular is the youngest universe and has adopted the name Aeris.

[Collapse]

A short yelp was heard and disappeared as fast.

[Mend]

A strong prolonged gasp was heard.

[Rend], [Reform], [Asunder], [Genesis], [Decimate], [Alpha], [Desolate], [Rebirth]

With every word an anguished and blood-cruddling scream resounded not only in the near vicinity but across every universe. This in turn drew the attention of every powerful being in each universe.

{Hear me all of you. I have played nice for too long. I have stayed my hand, bent my knee at your whims, paid your tolls. But it would seem you all have forgotten who I am... What I am. I am that which lies in wait beyond your tiny universes, I was once given the name Emperyan. I was intended to stand at the closest and highest point of heavens, but that is far too small now. Me who was born in the heart of everything that is, was, and will be. Me who has stood aside and allowed you all to reign. I see now that was a mistake I allowed you to believe you stood above me. Now you will no longer stand, you will not even have the pleasure of being grinded beneath my feet. I did not take a name and remained unclaimed by all, the first of my kind. However, hear me now I will take a name here and now and you will engrave it in your hearts. It will keep you awake in the night, vigilant in the dark, in the shadows at dawn. You will remember the name of the Un-affined, the perpetual deviant, you will quake in horror when at the moments before your death you remember the name Cassius the Divergent, The true ruler of [Ramification]} (AN; {} Will be used to indicate the language of Concepts)

Cassius turned into a ray of light and disappeared into the body of Aeris drawing out yet another shrill scream.

The Intent of the man once known as Empreyan, now Cassius spread through the entire multiverse every being with even the slightest hint of power or sentience listened to this decree. Those with some understanding of the power displayed bowed in worship of this almighty being, others sneered believing it to be the foolishness of one who has only recently come to power. Even then others welcomed this new development.

In a room in a far-off corner of the universe governed by Aeris,

A woman lay in a large bed surrounded by a variety shriveled, pale corpse like beings no one would believe that only a few seconds before the decree of Cassius they had been full of life if not each other. The woman displayed her now naked figure for no ones eyes but her own, she stared deep into the stars, letting out laughter both charming and devilish.

{A new toy has made itself known just for me, oh how fun. I can't wait to play with it}

The woman spoke in the language of Concepts, a mostly dead language as no one or thing has seen a Concept in Eons.
