Elphaba looked at the Zaros's pale face. She still has some use for him. All she could do now was turn him back into half human and half vampire state. He won't lose his abilities but he will have a beating heart from now on, just like Lenora. Well, Lenora was a different case or scenario from him.
She made him lay in the middle of the bed before taking out a bluish crystal that didn't belong to her. She loosened his clothes till his chest was exposed to her eyes. Placing the crystal on his heart, she chanted some spells. The crystal started melting as she chanted the spells. The melting crystals started burning his skin as lava poured on his skin. Yet he didn't respond as he was on the verge of dying. This was the only chance or way for him to survive.
