Eudora, Lenora, Adira, Serene, Zaros, and Maximus were in a dilemma as they walked back to the castle.
But they knew they have to act normal.
"Lady Eudora, I guess we shall discuss things about weddings from now only. We only have a month," Serene said.
"Yes, We shall have a meeting," Eudora said.
As they went to a meeting hall, they started talking about things. The elders left them to do their tasks. The poor four youngsters along with two big mamas entered the room of their demise.
Yes…. demise.
Because… those two elder women spoke about everything that can be included in the wedding. Carpets, curtains, flowers, designs, clothes, jewelry, hairpins, necklaces, corsets, for men they even spoke about their innerwear too not caring about whether the people who were present would be embarrassed or not.
Lenora felt everything was too sweet. No matter how powerful they were… they were mothers and always be mothers.
She noticed her brother was falling asleep from the conversation. Just then she saw Adira and Maximus were exchanging a few looks. She felt glad that they have an amazing bond. Even she used to have it. But not anymore. Well, she wasn't jealous of them. She had her happy moments too.
They were so adorable.
"Mother, I have something to attend to. I need to go. And since you are deciding we have nothing to question. I suppose you all should excuse the youngsters," Maximus said.
"Shut up and sit," Serene said as she threw a sharp glare at him.
"Mom, I am the king!" Maximus said.
"So? I don't want to give you any face. And I know… your sister pleaded with you to get her out of this room," Serene said as she rolled her eyes. Adira lowered her head. Even Maximus shut his mouth after hearing her mother's words.
"How do you know she pleaded him, Serene?" Eudora asked surprised. Eudora didn't hear them talking. How did she even know?!
"I saw her pout!" Serene said.
"Just with a pout?" Eudora asked.
"They were talking through Mind Link," Serene said.
Eudora just smiled. Looks like her daughter-in-law was just so cute.
"Mom! I am hungry! That's why I asked my brother to get me out," Adira said.
"You had lunch two hours ago. Why are you hungry again? Don't give me the reason that you didn't eat properly. If you eat properly the whole kingdom will starve, Glutton!" Serene chided her.
"Mom, see I am thin. How could you say I am eating a lot?" Adira said with a pout.
"Brother! See your mother is scolding me," Adira complained.
"She is your mother too," he said.
"But now she is acting like an enemy!" she said like a brat.
"Why are you being childish now?" Serene chided.
"I am hungry!" she said stomping her feet.
"Act like a proper lady!" Serene chided her.
"Mom, acting like a proper lady doesn't feed my stomach," Adira said.
How can that feed her stomach!?! Can't her mother understand it!?
Sad life.
"Maximus! Look at your sister. Look how she is!" Serene said forgetting the crowd.
"I am looking at her only. She looks beautiful. And at this second, she is cute," Maximus said as he put his hand under his chin as if he was saying a hard decision. And that's it the Angry Serene was unleashed from her.
"You both!" Serene said.
Serene mindlinked her maid. She disappeared at a werewolf speed and appeared in a second. The next second both Adira and Maximus saw the thing in their mother's hand.
"Danger!" Adira said as she got up from her chair hurriedly. Even Maximus got up from his chair hurriedly. Both siblings started running.
